You kept it. You didn't necessarily have any ties, but you knew the Ark meant survival. Plus, you wanted to show Bellamy that he didn't control you.

Jasper:

Bellamy's goons took yours and Wells at the same time. But you soon forgot about it when everything fell down with Jasper and the spear.

Monty:

You gave yours up to Monty to help ark communication. You didn't necessarily have family up there, but you refused to ever give in to Bellamy or his goons.

Lincoln:

Gave it up. You followed all else in the rebellious stage, though you didn't wait in line for it.

Murphy:

You easily gave it up. Cutting your ties to the Ark was little to nothing to you, considering how you were treated by those people.

Raven:

Kept it. You didn't know if she could see it, but you always had her up on the Ark. The knowledge that she was alive kept you going, so you didn't want to let her down.

Octavia:

You were a grounder, so the technology was nothing to you. By the time you had met O and the 100, they were all fried.

Lexa:

You were also a grounder, but you had picked up one of the metal things from pure fascination. Lexa hated for you to have it, solely because she didn't understand it. The only other tech she knew of was the flame, and even that she barely could grasp the full concept.

Clarke:

You took yours off, despite your girlfriends objections. Your argument was your crime, there was no way they would simply wave it. After an argument, the two of you finally gave it up. Bellamy, on the other hand, didnt. It was a symbol to him, he figured that was one step closer to getting the princesses.
