A low cry, followed by the sound of quick sharp breaths caught Bellamy's attention as he did his final round for the night. Stopping right outside of a tent he was all too familiar with, he pushed the tent flaps open. Your eyes snapped up, wiping the tears away to act as if everything was fine. But your breaths were still erratic.

"Mase, hey." Bellamy cooed. Squatting in front of you, he pushed your shoulders back to straighten your posture. "Open your eyes and look at me." He spoke lowly, gently brushing his fingers through your hair.

You tried to speak, attempting to crumble back into the makeshift mattress, but Bellamy pulled you back up. Cupping your face in his hands, he wiped the tears from your cheeks, placing a light kiss on your forehead.

"Breath with me." He drew in a deep breath, making you do it along with him. You tried to mimic his even breaths, and after a few tries, they became more stable. With a tight grip still on your hand, he sat beside of you, making sure you were still breathing. Your eyes finally opened, looking at the freckle faced man sat beside of you. Gently squeezing his hand, you mumbled a light thank you.

"You don't have to thank me for this, ever." He reassured you, allowing you to finally lay back. Just as he always did in these situations, he layed beside of you, pulling you into his side. "What was it this time?" He asked in a low voice. You let out a low sigh, playing with the zipper on his jacket. Bellamy looked down at you from the awkward angle, making you let out a breathy laugh.

"I miss him Bell." You shook your head, gripping the fabric of his guards jacket. "I know why it happened and Im glad that Clarke gave him a quick death. But, he-he was basically my brother." You let out a shaky breath, Bellamy slowly running his hand up your back.

"I know you do Mase. And, even though the two of us seemed to never agree on anything, I miss him too." Bellamy let out a low sigh. "Death isn't something we should have to get accustomed to, but it is. Grieving is okay though."

"Yeah, according to everyone else, it's not."

"But it is, especially considering how close you two were. And I know I could never do anything to fill that hole, but I'll always be here for you." He placed a light kiss to the top of your head, causing you to let out a light yawn.

Your eyes burned and your head hurt. Though you are still upset, exhaustion tugged at your body. "Go to sleep, I know you're tired angel. I'll be right here when you wake up."

Bellamy hummed lowly to you, drawing light circles on your back. Your eyes drooped, before finally falling shut. Nuzzling your face in his chest, you relaxed, hugging against his body. "It's gonna be okay Mase." he whispered lowly.
