Katie’s POV

“Good morning love.” I was awoken by Harry’s words.

“Morning.” I answered all sleepy, opened my eyes and saw him beside me.

First thing I did was check if I really had the ring on my finger. If all this really happened or if it was just a dream. It looks like it did happen. I really had a gorgeous ring on my ring finger.

“Did you sleep well?”

“Yes, I haven’t slept so well in a while.”

He kissed me on my forehead.

“Great. Get up, we’re leaving in half an hour.”

“Where?” I had no idea what he was talking about.

“I’ll tell you when the time’s right.”

“But half an hour is not enough for me to get ready.”

“You can go out just as you are right now, you look perfect to me.”

“Oh, Harry, stop it.”

He smiled. I jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom.

“What do I need to take with me?” I asked while I was brushing my teeth.

“I already packed everything you need.”

“Really?”

“Yes.”

We went down to the lobby of the hotel, where the rest of the boys were already waiting on is. I was in such a good mood. I sat down on the sofa, next to Liam.

“Morning.”

“Good morning Katie. Why are you in such a good mood?”

I smiled and showed him the hand with the ring.

“Katie!” he exclaimed and hugged me. “I’m so happy for you.”

“Thanks.”

“Boys, did you see this.” he said loudly, grabbed my hand and showed the ring to everyone there. He showed it just as proudly as he would be if he were my fiancé.

Everyone looked at my hand.

“Oh my god, Harry!” Niall said. “You’re completely crazy. Congrats!”

“I know. Thanks.” he answered.

Everyone started clapping. I did feel a little bit embarrassed, but I must admit, I was truly happy.

“Thank you for everything, Liam.”

“Don’t thank me. I don’t know what I’d do without a friend like you.”

I just remembered how much it hurt when my mom and dad got divorced. I thought I’ll never be happy again, that I’ll never have a normal life. But know I have this life that a person could only dream of. Thank you Harry and Liam.

Harry’s POV

We headed down to the beach, where a boat was already waiting for us, to take us on a one day trip.

“Harry!” I heard a voice coming from behind my back.

“Christopher!” Katie exclaimed.

Damn. He came here all the way from London. No!

“Harry, Harry wait.”

Katie and I stopped.

“This is your last chance.” he said, out of breath.

“Chance to do what?” I asked.

“Don’t play dumb. You know what this is about!” he said loudly and angrily.

“If you think I’ll break up this engagement, you couldn’t be more wrong.”

“That is exactly what I mean. EXACTLY! And you’ll do it right now.”

“Come Katie.” I said and held her hand.

“You’re not going anywhere.”

He grabbed Katie’s other hand and pulled her back roughly.

“Don’t touch her! Do you understand?!” I shouted at him. “You can do anything you want with me, but you won’t treat her so roughly. I’ve had enough of all of you! I can do whatever I want with my life. I don’t know why are you still trying so hard, because you’ll never succeed. Do you understand? NEVER!”

I was about to lose my nerves. I almost punched him right in the face.

“Go to Liam, Katie. I’ll be right there!”

Christopher shot me a weird look. He probably didn’t expect me to react like this.

“Well, what you want? Why do you keep trying? Why?”

“Harry, you’re single and you know it.” he added a little bit calmly.

“No, not a while now.”

“But you will be from today on.”

“That’s what you think.”

“Why can’t we discuss this in a nice fashion?” he said.

“I’ve been asking myself this since I first met you.”

“Why are you doing this? You well know what can lose a lot of fans because of this.”

“Believe me, we won’t.”

“Everyone hates her.”

“Who? Katie?”

“Yes.”

“They accepted her quite nicely. It could have been much worse. There will always be someone who says bad things about every girl that comes into our lives, even if it’s just a friend. That’s just the was it is.”

“Are you completely sure you want this?”

“100% sure.”

“It looks like we really won’t get to you.”

“I can say this with complete confidence – you sure won’t.” I added.

“How much do we need to pay you to put a stop to this?”

“No amount of money can compare with our love.”

“Think about it.”

“I won’t think about it. I think this conversation is over. Goodbye.”
