Harry’s POV

“Thinking about what?” Zayn asked.

“I’m going to ask her to marry me.”

“Harrrrrrry!” Liam exclaimed, excited.

“But…”

“What’s the problem?”

“We’ve only known each other for three months. Isn’t it a little bit too soon?”

“No, absolutely not Harry. Even you just thinking about it is a good sign.” Zayn added.

“What if she says no? It would be devastated.”

“She loves you. She really loves you, don’t worry.” Liam said.

“Oh… Thanks boys.”

Their opinion meant a lot to me. I was really grateful for their advice. Maybe engagement would steer them away from everything they’re trying to do to break us up. They will never succeed. Never!

Katie’s POV

I was accompanying the boys to their concert today. We were backstage where Natalie was getting them ready for the show. She was once again acting like the world revolves around her. She was all you could hear. Oh, I hate her so much. How can someone act like this? Well, if you take into consideration that she’s Christopher’s daughter, then it’s not odd at all. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, right?

“Katie, can you do my hair, please?” Harry said and walked towards me.

“Sure I can.”

I got right to it. But before I could even start, our best friend Natalie piped up.

“Katie, this is my job. Can you please go away?” she said, sounding so proud.

I wanted to step away, but Harry wouldn’t let me.

“She’s not going anywhere.”

“But Harry, I’m paid to do this.” she said, like she owned the place. “She has no right to do this, and besides, look at her, she has no idea how to do it.”

“I think she’s better at this than you.” Harry said.

“Huuuh.” she frowned.

To avoid getting into trouble, of which I had enough of already, I stepped aside. “There you go Natalie, I’d be glad to leave you to it.” I added with a smile on my face, so that she’d be even madder than before.

I saw how she continued working, shivering with anger. She was certainly hurt by Harry’s words, when he said I was better than her.

After the concert was over, we went back to the hotel. Harry and I were relaxing in bed, watching tv.

“Katie, come closer.”

“No.” I smiled.

“Come here.” he said and tickled me.

“Stop it.”

He moved himself closer to me and hugged me tightly. I rested my head on his chest. I could spend the rest of my life like this.
