Harry’s POV

I saw him across the room, walking towards us with a fake smile on his face. I was really curious of what he had to tell us. What ‘good’ news he had for us.

“It’s nice of you that you came.” he said and smiled hypocritically. “Can I cut straight to the point?”

“Yes.”

“Katie, I bought you a plane ticket back to London. Your flight is in two hours.”

“This is good news for you?” I asked.

“Isn’t it nice to go back to your home country?”

“Dad!” Natalie interrupted us. She just came back to the lobby.

“Natalie!?” he said and looked at her under his eyebrows.

“You promised me that Harry would be my boyfriend. You promised. And what did you do about it? NOTHING!” she started shouting across the whole lobby. I think I was more embarrassed than her.

Looks like we’re about to witness a family argument.

“He will be, just wait a little bit longer.”

In your dreams Christopher. This is definitely not happening.

“No he won’t. He’ll never be my boyfriend. He hates me and it’s all because of you. I’m leaving.”

“Natalie wait.” he got up from his seat and ran after her.

Katie and I looked at one another and burst into laughter. I turned around and glanced at everyone else in the lobby. They had no idea what was going on and to tell you the truth, neither did I.

Katie’s POV

Liam and I decided to go out to get some ice cream after lunch. I don’t know if I mentioned this before, but I’m simply crazy about it, ice cream of course. I love it. I could eat a whole ton of it in the summer months.

We ordered two scoops each and headed to the beach to go on a little walk. It was a gorgeous day. It would be a waste to spend the whole day in our rooms.

“So Natalie is gone?” he asked me when I told him about our little episode in the hotel lobby.

“Looks like it.” I laughed.

“That’s great. I really couldn’t stand that woman.”

“No one could.”

“I think we can all feel relieved now. Are you free today? Would you like to go shopping with me? I have to buy some new jeans.”

“Sure, why not.”

“Won’t Harry be jealous?”

“A little bit of jealousy can’t hurt, can it?”

He laughed and playfully nudged me in the ribs.

We took a cab to the shopping center. There were a lot of stores everywhere around. There were so many of them, we didn’t know where to start. We went into the first one and Liam immediately picked out a whole pile of clothes.

“Can I help you hold all of this?”

“Please, if you could be so kind.”

I grabbed at least ten trousers and ten shirts that he wanted to try on.

“Didn’t you say that you only needed jeans?” I teased him.

“I did, but..”

“I understand, I understand.”

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa… Liaaaam.” we suddenly heard echoing through the store.

We turned around and saw a bunch of girls running into the store.

“This doesn’t look good.” I said to Liam.

“Umm… yeah, standard.” he laughed.

He took a little time and took a photo with each of the fans. Liam wouldn’t be Liam if he didn’t please everybody. I can be happy to have somebody like him beside me. Some girl came up to me, hugged me and congratulated me on my engagement. I was surprised, I really didn’t expect something like this. She was really nice and she was almost more excited about it than me.

“Oh my god. I love Harry so much. Can you please give him my Twitter handle?” she asked so excited, she could barely speak.

I almost told her to calm down, take a deep breath and then continue. But on the other hand I totally understood how she felt.

“Sure.” I agreed and smiled.

She almost passed out. She was so happy she could jump through the roof if that was possible.

“You’re so nice.” she said and hugged me again.

She really brightened my day. You don’t meet such a nice fan every day. When the atmosphere around us calmed down a little we went over to the changing rooms, where Liam started trying on his clothes.

I heard my phone ring. I dug though my purse and finally found it. I always lose it amongst all the other crap in my purse, always. It was Harry.

“Looks like he misses me already.” I told Liam before I answered it.

“Hey!”

“Hey. Did you hear?” I heard his voice on the other end.

“Heard what?”

‘beeeeep’

Damn, the battery. I love it when the battery runs out in the most inconvenient moment.

“Liam can I borrow your phone?”

He started rummaging through his jeans and all the other mess that he had in his changing room. A pile of trousers and shirts and other stuff, I don’t even know what.

“I think I left it on the bed in the hotel.”

“Seriously?”

“Yes.” he laughed loudly.

“Liam, this isn’t funny.”

Great, great. Just as he was about to tell me something I ran out of battery. I love it when this happened. Am I being a little sarcastic? Yes I am.
