Its finally Saturday, me and Harry are going for dinner and a movie later today. I'm excited, I know it's not a date but it's going to be fun.
"Do you still need me to drive you to Olive Garden for your date with Harry tonight?" Blaire pokes her head into my room
"It's not a date. And yes please" she rolls her eyes and walks out. Why's she always like that? I don't get it
I roll out of bed to get my laptop, let's see what's on YouTube.
I watch the Dolan Twins for a couple of hours when my mom walks in. "Jo, get ready, we're going shopping" my mom squeals and I roll my eyes and hop off my bed. I pull my hair up into a messy bun, throw on a flannel and some tights, good enough.
I buckle my seat belt and we're off to the mall, which is a half hour away, yay
We get to the mall after a car ride filled with the radio playing quietly in the back and silence. Me being on my phone and my mom paying attention to the road.
"Why are we shopping anyway?" I put my phone in my back pocket while getting out of the car "We're going to buy you a cute outfit, Blaine told me that you're going on a date with Harry tonight" she wiggles her eyebrows at me over the car
"It's not a date" I pick up my phone and text Blaire.
Me: why'd you tell mom I'm going on a date with Harry. Blaire: because you are. It's a date, guy and girl friends don't go to dinner and a movie without other friends Me: it's not a date!!
I huff and walk into the mall with my mom.

I look at myself in the mirror, this dress is horrible, its a forest green long sleeved dress that has a lace bottom that ends right past my knees.
I take that one off throwing it in the 'no' pile. I pick up the next one and i like this one, its has a deep red colour and is fairly simple and form fitting.
I put it on and it looks so good, it's fairly casual and it has pockets! I take it off and put the rest back on their hangers and hung them up on the outside of the door. I take the dress to my mom to pay for it and we leave

As soon as we get home I hop into the shower, I have to admit, I'm kind of greasy.
I hop out of the shower and wrap myself in a towel, I walk to my room and start to dry my hair. Once my hairs dry, I put on my dress. I look at myself in my mirror and twirl. I look so good
I straighten my hair and then loosely curl the bottoms, adding a necklace and a couple of rings as accessories. I grab my clutch and head downstairs.
"Awe honey you look so cute, are you sure it isn't a date?" My mom looks at me in awe
"Stop mom, no it isn't. And thank you" I peck her cheek "Ready to go?" I ask putting on my shoes
"Uh yup, just lemme get the keys"
We spent 10 minutes driving, as we pulled up I saw Harry sitting on a bench outside of the restaurant. He's wearing dress pants and a blazer. He looks hella fine
He sees me walking up, he stands and puts his arm in his pocket a sticks his elbow out, allowing me to snake my arm in the hole.
"You look nice" he says eyeing me up and down, I feel my cheeks heat up as I turn my head towards the ground "I could say the same about you" it's his turn to look at the ground
I order the seafood alfredo and he gets the same. I pick at a break stick as I see him staring at me from across the table, I again feel my cheeks starting to get heated.
"You know I could've just had you over for dinner right? Instead of paying like 20$ for a plate" Harry raises his eyebrow, turning my attention away from my breadstick.
"I know, I like your cooking, don't get me wrong. It's just I like coming here, it's so good, and we're going to a movie across the street after so why not?"
"True" he chuckles and sips his drink. I suddenly can't breathe properly and I start coughing. I'm choking on a breadstick. A breadstick. Only me. Harry notices something's wrong when I grab my drink and try drinking as much as possible. "Hey Jo are you ok?" He sticks his arm out and grabs my hand. I hold one finger up, I finally get it out and I can breathe normally again.
"As if." I say laughing like crazy, getting really weird looks from people around us. "What's so funny, you were just choking" he chuckles along with my obnoxious laughing "I just choked on a breadstick! Who does that!!" I say throwing my hands up and he just shakes his head.
Not shortly after the waiter comes out with our food, it looks and smells so good oh my god. "Be careful eating this one" Harry laughs picking up his fork. "Oh shush" I playfully slap his arm that's resting on the table. ___________________________
After dinner I finished my plate as did Harry, we sit there for a minute after we get the bill. "Ready to go?" He says tucking money in the bill cover, he's paying for dinner and I'm paying for the movie. "Umm, yup" I say getting up, returning my arm in his as we walk away.
We get out of the restaurant and he turns to me "I don't wanna go to the movie, I'd rather go walk around and go on an adventure, wanna do that?" He says unhooking our arms and standing in front of me. "Why not, but let me pay you for my half." I offer "Nope, I already paid, you'll pay next time" I nod my head and we start walking in the opposite direction of the theatre.
After about 5 minutes of walking in a comfortable silence, I see a pet store a little in the distance. I gasp, causing Harry to look at me worriedly "Harry!" "What?" He tilts his head to the side "Can we please go to the pet store?!" I say getting really excited "Well this is an adventure, why not?" He pushes my shoulder slightly. I start to walk faster excited to get to the pet store.
