Your POV

"Come on." Sting gently help me sit up.
"Where?" I looked at him confused.
"The ball down stairs, I love you (Y/N) but you need to have some fun." He pouted, Sting being the man he is pulled me out of bed and to the closet
"Change and come out." Sting turned and walked out of the closet, I sighed and defeat and looked for a dress. I settled on a (d/l), (d/c). I sighed, realizing I couldn't get the zipper the rest of the way up.
"Sting you love me, get the zipper please." I pouted walking out of the closet, he chuckled in reply and fixed my zipper.
"You look simply breath taking." Sting complimented, a light pink dusted my cheeks.
"You don't look too bad your self." I remarked, he chuckled and looked back to me once more.
"Let's be off." He exclaimed holding his arm out to me, I chuckled and slid my arm in link with his.

And now......

Everyone quieted down and looked to the balcony, Natsu, Lucy, everyone. I stood there feeling a bit awkward with all eyes in the room on us, I gasped as I felt Sting's hand intertwine with mine. My smile slightly grew, as did his. Gramps appeared on the balcony before us, they turned back to us and grinned then they both faced the crowds once more.
"Let the ball, begin!" He shouted, as in cue the orchestra began.

I grabbed a drink from the table, I watched everyone dancing and happy. I sighed and was about to take a drink until Sting grabbed it from my hand and swallowed it all, I sighed as he smirked.
"May I have this dance M'lady?" Sting asked, I only chuckled as a smile slid onto my face.
"Yes you may kind sir." I half curtsied as Sting formally bowed, we both began laughing at the formalities and together made our way to the dance floor.

Sting pulled me close and guided us along, I blushed a light shade of pink as Sting just grinned enjoying himself. He spun as the others joined in with us, Sting leaned us down into a dip and rose once more.

Makarov was watching the dance floor from the balcony, glancing over at his youngest grand daughter. A smile crept onto his face.
"Sting has done so much for her." He whispered, truth be told he had never seen her smile much or even dance. Sting became a guiding light and pulled his darling out of the darkness. He truly stood by her, even in the darkest times.

"Did you say something?" I asked looking up to Sting.
"Nothing." Sting brushed it off, I looked down then up once more.
"What's wrong Sting?" I questioned, he looked away avoiding my gaze.
"Nothing, everything is perfect. Just perfect." He quickly responded, I looked at him in suspicion.
"Listen (Y/N), I've been wanting to do this for almost  three years now. But I haven't had the courage to until now." He stopped and glanced around, he sighed and fell onto one knee.
"Would you marry me?" He asked pulling out a red velvet box, the ring shimmered under the chandelier light.
"Sting, I-" Before I could finish, a piercing scream rang out.

The music had stopped, I heard a loud voice cry from above.

"Help, someone help us please!" Sting and I looked to the balcony, Katsura was the one shouting out in her arms was Rogue, wave of worry and anxiety surrounded us, Sting grabbed my hand and we ran up to the balcony.
"Rogue, please don't leave me." She whispered, Lucy bent down feeling the shadow dragon slayers forehead and he was burning up.
"Shit!" Lucy yanked her hand back clutching it closely. I examined her palm, it was burned.

Suddenly the candle light chandelier had blown out, the windows in the ballroom and door had been blown open.
"No more Mr. Nice Guy."
"Mard Geer." Makarov growled.
"We just thought we'd do this in person rather than unexpectedly." Lady spat, a sinister grin on her face.
"And that is?" Laxus questioned.
"Oh just this." Mard Geer stated, he snapped his fingers and down to the ground the dragon slayers went.
"Sting!" I shouted clutching him closely as we sank to the ground.
"Natsu!"
"Gajeel!"
"Wendy!"
"Laxus!" The girls plus Romeo cried in unison rushing over to their dragon slayers unconsciously lying on the ground, burning up just like Rogue.
"What have you done?" I screeched at them, they only chuckled.
"Nothing much." Lady taunted, as she held a vile in the air then vanished.

Gray and Erza helped me bring Sting back to our room, I helped the others get the other dragon slayers a room to rest. I walked back to the ballroom with Jinks and Lector on my tail, I scanned the balcony where Rogue had fallen, I grabbed the glass Rogue had when he made the toast. I picked it up a whiffed and began gaging, my thoughts clicked. I ran back to the other with hopeful news, I slammed the doors open as I entered.
"What happened?" Mira asked looking up to me.
"I know what they did." I had a small tint of hope in my expression.
"It was Dragon Poison. They some how managed to spike the punch, only Dragon Slayers would be affected."
"But why weren't you and Katsura?" Erza inquired.
"We didn't drink any, normal humans won't get sick only dragon slayers."
"Do you know of any cure?" Mira said with a bit of hope.
"Well-" I began, but Levy burst through the doors with a small envelope in hand.
"I know how to get a cure." Levy with that she tore out a letter from the note.

Dear Fairy Tail:
In the old days Dragon Poison would be coated on the tip of arm weapons when up against dragons. Lethal to Dragons and Dragons Slayers, unless cured in a week the Dragon carrier will die. Let me assure you this death is one of the most painful. The only know cure can be found upon The Crystal Mountains a man I met while traveling the world to write a story, he has the cure a simple but extremely rare substance. But this man is kind and should help hopefully, good luck hunters and huntress may the week be in your favor.

~The Dragon of The West

"Who ever you are thank you." I whispered, the other guild members nodded in agreement.
"Than its settled, only the mates of each Dragon Slayer will go." Master began.
"Erza and Gray will go, (Y/N) for Sting, Katsura for Rogue, Lucy for Natsu, Levy for Gajeel, Romeo for Wendy, Mira for Laxus. You kids be careful." The supposed mates blushed hard, but nodded in agreement, with the except of me of course.
"Than let's move out, a week isn't a lot of time." Katsura shouted running out.
"Aye!" We all responded.
