Austin's p.o.v
"Dez," I whined. "I love that you're so focused on your filming...but the first ten shots were fine. Thirty takes is just ridiculous. How long is this going to take?" I asked looking at the time on my phone.
"Okay, okay. Fine. Let me just get on more shot of the shoppers and then we'll go." He said, slowly focusing his camera on a stampede of crazy shoppers.
We're going to be here forever. I thought to myself...
Ally's p.o.v
"That was such a great film!" Trish exclaimed as we piled out of the movie theatre. The movie we'd just watched, Frozen, was so funny. We were all laughing throughout.
"It's like a baby unicorn!" Chrissy quoted from the movie. We all laughed at her impression.
"So where to now?" Carly asked, looking around.
"We could just go home and chill before the Dad's get back?" Carter suggested
"Yeah, but we have to go to Sam's party at 4:30." Chrissy reminded them.
"Well we can hang until then and then Trish and I could have a girls night when you guys leave." I smiled.
That's what we agreed on and then made our way back to Carter's car.
Austin's p.o.v
"Austin?" I heard a strangely familiar voice say behind me.
I spun around and saw Lillian Groves, the model that I went out with when I was 15 and we got charged for underage drinking. "Lillian?"
"You know better than that. Call me Lilly, you always used to." She smiled, bringing me into a hug.
"You look great, it's been years." I smiled. Despite everything that had happened between us, she was my friend before we went out.
"You too and it has. Oh, hi Dez." She smiled at Dez who was jaw-dropped over her.
"H-hi Lilly." Dez stuttered.
"Last time I saw you was at Austin's 12th birthday party and you dared Austin to fart out the candles." Lilly laughed.
"You remember my 12th?" I asked, pretty surprised.
"D'uh, you were like my best friend since I was 10. Plus how could I forget?" She laughed again.
"So, how have you been doing, job wise?" I asked nervously, remembering the event that occurred the last time we saw each other.
"Pretty good actually, I'm working for Boohoo.com modelling on the website. I heard about your music career. Who knew little Austin Moon would turn into this big star?" She smiled, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Thanks, yeah I love it. My songwriter is amazing. I've reached my dreams." I smiled thinking of Ally.
Dez had stopped taking pictures of some skateboarders at this time and checked his phone. "Hey Austin, Trish just text me saying that they want to spend the evening with us."
"Oh, alright. I get it, busy Austin Moon. Sorry I was holding you guys up." She pouted.
"No, it's not that. My friend is leaving soon so we need to spend time with her. Hey, why don't we meet up soon, you could come to Miami at some point." I said, feeling guilty that I was ditching my old friend for the girls.
"Sure, see you soon Austin." She said before turning on her heels and walking away.
I felt bad to be honest, I mean, she was my friend since I was younger but I hadn't spoken to her since I was 14. I was a new person now. With a new life.
Ally's p.o.v
"I've invited the boys round by the way." Trish chimed in on the ride home.
"WHAT?" I exclaimed, almost causing Carter to almost slam his foot on the brakes.
"What's wrong?" Trish cried in shock. I didn't even know what was wrong with the idea, I mean, I don't even know how I felt anymore about Austin. I mean, I love him so much, Dez too, but Austin's been so moody and different these past few days, I just can't keep up.
"I thought it was just us for the night in. Like a girls night while everyone else goes out." I sighed, looking out of the car window.
"It is, but I thought it would be nice to see Austin and Dez again before I go." Trish pouted.
I rolled my eyes. I guess it's only for a few hours. "Fine." I sighed again, messing with the radio dials.

They came round at around 5pm. They brought snacks and two bottles of soda along with them. Dez walked in and sat down in the living room while Austin just stood at the door, looking at me weirdly. Trish was sat with Dez, already tucking into the multiple bags of candy but I was stood with Austin, embracing the awkwardness.
"Hi Ally." He smiled, reading my face for answers. Can he tell that there's something wrong?
"Hey. Are you going to come in or are you just going to stand there?" I asked, avoiding eye contact with him.
"Yeah." He almost whispered and then I moved out of the way so he could enter. We made our way to the living room to join Trish and Dez. I sat next to Trish on the floor with cushions while Dez and Austin sat on the couch. We put some music on and just talked about the holiday.
After about an hour of memories, the dreaded question came up. "What's going on with you two?" Trish asked, gesturing to Austin and I.
"Er, well, I- er." I stuttered, looking between Austin and Trish. What do I say now? Are we together?
"Ally, can I talk to you for a second?" Austin asked, getting up from his comfy position on the couch and helped me up from the floor.
"Sure." I said, before walking outside to the back garden with Austin. We sat on the bench next to the flower garden and he sighed.
"Ally, what is going on here? You're acting weird." He said, looking confused but hurt as well.
"I don't know. You're so different. I don't like change, you know that, and this is a pretty big change." I blurted out. My brain wasn't fast enough to stop my mouth.
"What do you mean?" He asked. Is he this oblivious to how he's acting?
"Austin, you're violent, you're confusing and just different from the Austin I know."
"People grow up and change, Ally."
"Not like this." Tears pricked my eyes. "What happened to you?"
"Nothing's happened. I've just faced reality." He shrugged.
"Are you even listening to yourself? Do you not care about people who have always been there for you and stuck by you?" I asked as I violently wiped a rolling tear from my cheek. I stood up to leave but he spoke again so I stopped walking.
He stood up to and called after me. "Of course I care. I care too much. I don't like it but I care too much. People get to me too easily and you saying this to me isn't making anything easier." He said, clearly getting agitated.
"Austin, what are you talking about?" I asked, giving up on my side of the argument. I walked back over to him.
"You wouldn't understand." He grunted, stubbornly.
"Well if you tell me then maybe I would." I said, calming myself down a bit.
"Nothing, let's just forget about it." He mumbled, his eyes softening up a fraction.
"Austin-" I began but he stopped me.
"Ally, trust me, I'm fine." He said, completely calm again. Why is his mood ever-changing?
I finally sighed in surrender. "Fine, let's go back inside."
