Austin's p.o.v
I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face, no matter how cheesy that sounded, nothing can get me down! Today's the day that I have my date with Ally. I really have to prove to her on this date how much she means to me.
Dez wasn't up when I got ready. I text Ally
To Ally:
Hey, I'm about to leave. You ready? Remember to wear swimming stuff! ;) <3
Then I ate some pancakes that Dez bought yesterday and she text me back.
From Ally:
Okay, I'll see you in a bit :) <3
I grabbed my bag and flew out of the door. I jumped in my car and drove all the way to Ally's uncle's house.
Ally opened the door the second I pulled up.
"Hey, how was rehearsal?" She asked getting into the car. I smiled at her.
"It was alright, how was shopping?" I asked back. She rolled her eyes.
"The longest day of my life! But I'm happy now." She smiled. Man, I'm so lucky.
Ally's p.o.v
Austin's car was amazing! It was so cool! We were laughing about Dez belly flopping the pool yesterday when Austin suddenly said,
"You seem different." He smiled, facing the road. I turned my head towards him. "Different bad?" I asked suddenly worried. Had I really changed? I feel different but that's because I loads of chocolate yesterday and feel fat, but apart from that, I'm just same old Ally.
"Different...good." He said grinning. I looked out of the window which was rolled down. I took my sunglasses off and put them in my bag.
"Well I'm not the same girl as I was when we first met." I said truthfully. Back then I hardly went to any parties, now Team Austin go to loads. Back then I dressed in skirts and belts, now it's all about dresses and bright colours. Back then I used to be so good, now I'm mature and I do things differently. I'm not a rebel or anything, I just don't follow anyone's lead, I'm more responsible.
"No way, you're much cooler now, but I liked how you were back then. You were and still are, pretty amazing." He blushed. I could tell that he's thinking hard about what he has to say. He's kind of nervous.
"Er, thanks. But back then it was so easy. We didn't have to worry about what people thought of us. You were mad with Dez; breaking watermelons in piano's and making musical instruments domino course. I miss that Austin. I mean, the way you are now is still cool, but what happened to the Austin who couldn't make decisions, who hated hurting people. A part of me can't forgive you, but the rest of me is glad I did." I confessed.
His smile dropped. "I have to live up to the star image that Jimmy wants me to have, I can't do that when I'm smashing up a watermelon. You understand that, don't you?" He asked, turning left.
"Of course I can, I'm just saying that I prefer that Austin. I still love this Austin too though." I smiled. He laughed to himself and took my hand and kissed it. Then he took another left and we ended up at Venice beach.
"We have a beach at home, couldn't you wait until we get back?" I asked with a laugh after he parked the car. I got out and grabbed my bag while he made his way to the trunk.
He opened it up and got his bag. Moments later we were headed for the sand.
I was about to sit down when Austin stopped me.
