He didn't even listen to my side of the story.

Ally's p.o.v

Luke is a really nice guy. He's funny and smart, he made such a funny joke about perimeter and area earlier, it was so funny! He told me about his school life, his home life, his job as a carer for the elderly. I told him about Austin, about things at the store and just life really.

Then I heard "Are you ready Victoria Park, for Jack and David Millard as Austin's opening acts?" The over voice asked.

Luke and I moved to the back of the crowd watching Jack and David perform. They're okay, but they are no Austin. They started dancing weirdly and doing hand motions to match the song...

They sung 2 covers of songs and then left the stage. Ready for Austin. Moments later, the blonde boy ran on stage with his guitar and one of those microphones that they tape to your face.

Before he started he spoke to the crowd. "Hey guys I'm Austin Moon, thanks for coming out." He smiled to the crowd. Then briefly for 2 seconds he glanced at me and he looked hurt. Why did he look at me that way. He was meant to see me and be happy. Then he started with Can You Feel It?

Austin's p.o.v

David and Jack had just performed and were now backstage wishing me luck. They were actually pretty nice when they're not threatening me.

I couldn't get Ally out of my mind, and not in the good way. I just don't know who she is anymore. The Ally I know doesn't lie and has or ever cheated on anything. But now she's with some guy at my gig. Just breath Austin, you have a performance. Now let's do this!

"Hey guys, I'm Austin Moon, thanks for coming out." I said into the mic taped to my cheek. The crowd cheered. I looked at Ally for a couple of seconds with a disappointed and crushed look. Her smile dropped and I quickly turned back to the crowd. Then I began to sing...

*

"Alright, it's the intermission now, but I'll be back in a few minutes guys!" I cheered before running off stage. I went behind the stage and slid my back down the side of the stage to sit down. I had my head in my hands and I just couldn't think straight. I'm surprised I got through the first half to be honest.

Then Dez jogged round to see me. "Hey buddy, that first half went awesome, the crowd is loving it!" He beamed. I was trying my hardest to be happy but there was no way my mind would allow me to be.

"At least they are." I sighed and I stood up to face Dez.

"Is this still about Ally?" He asked as I walked about.

"Yeah, I'm really crushed. It's messing me up." I said, thinking back to the couple of dance steps I got wrong when I accidentally looked their way.

"You'll be fine. You're Austin Moon. Just talk to her afterwards." Dez said as he stopped me from pacing about.

Just as he said that, Ally walked around the corner. Brilliant. Just brilliant. "Hi, Austin." She said, kind of shyly.

I looked at her for a few seconds and then turned away from her. "Dez, let's go get a drink." I said to Dez, mostly because I was really thirsty.

"Austin, why are you being like this?" Ally asked loudly. By this point, Dez had run off to get me a drink and left me here.

I hesitated but then turned around to face her. "Why do you even care? Why don't you run back to your date? He's probably waiting for you." I said, my voice ice cold. Why should I talk to Ally like everything is okay?

"Who? My date? You mean Luke? We're just friends!" She said, starting to get mad. Which got me even more mad.

"So were we once. But just friends always turn into heartbreak. I've just had to sing for 30 minutes with the thought of you and him haunting me. Now I have to do it for another half hour. Just, leave me alone." I said, my voice broke at the last part.

Ally took a step towards me. "I'm not cheating on you, if that's what you're thinking!" She said in a quiet but dangerous voice.

"Well it looks a lot like it! You lied to me for a start! You said you were too busy to see me perform because you were with your cousin!" I accused. Ally never lies. What made her change.
