You're Going.

Joe's POV
I haven't seen Emma since Saturday morning. It's now Monday and i don't even know if i want to go to school.

I went over to Caspar's yesterday and Emma wasn't there.

Caspar and I had a long talk and i'm really relieved he isn't mad at me. He told me he thinks it's weird but he would rather it be someone he knows and trusts to have hold on his sister's feelings or whatever.

I have hold on Emma's feelings?

But, she has a hold on mine.

Not only do i want to talk to Emma to apologize but just ask how she's doing because i know some shit went down with her Violet and Cody.

When i was at Caspar's, Violet came over to talk to Emma. She looked upset. But again, Emma wasn't there.

She probably was there, but told Casp to tell people that so she didn't have to socialize

It's lunch time and i'm sitting with the usual lads. Conor, Oli, Alfie, Jack and Caspar.

Usually the girls would be sitting with us, but they're not and i'm guessing it has something to do with me.

I can see Emma, Lucy, Ashley and Allison sitting at their table.

I watch as Violet makes her way over there. She sits down and when she does. Emma stands up and she makes her way to the garbage to throw her food away.

Violet is watching Emma with a tragic look on her face. I can tell she misses her.

My attention is drawn back to Emma when the cafeteria doors open. I take this as a chance to try and talk to her so i get up and run out after her. "Emma!" i catch up to her.

"The hell do you want?" she snaps at me.

"I um.. I just saw what happened with violet. Maybe thought you wanted to talk about it." i try and suggest.

She lets out a sarcastic laugh.

"You're the last person I would what to talk about anything with."  her words sting.

"Okay. I deserve that." i bite my lip.

"You deserve more than that." she says in a low tone. "Why are you so mad at me? I didn't mean for all of that to happen." i clarify.

She starts to walk away.

"You can't avoid me forever, Emma!" i yell out to her, hoping she would come and settle this with me. Hoping she would turn around and just talk to me.

"Watch me." she yells back.

My heart feels like it just jumped out of my chest and ran away with her. I deserve every insult she pushes at me.

Emma's POV
My eyes fill with tears as i hurriedly walk away from Joe hoping he won't notice how shaky i got when he approached me.

I can't feel that way for him anymore.

I can't allow myself to do that. I seen a side of him that I never wanted to see.

I have so many feelings for him, they drive me insane. I couldn't even look at him without my heart jumping and my eyes wanting to fill with tears. It's all too much.  

Then, there's so much shit going on with Cody and Violet.

I have Cody in my next class and I don't even want to see him so instead I just go home and skip the rest of the day.

"How did you get home before me?" Caspar says coming into my room.

I don't want to tell him i skipped the rest of the school day or he will just give me a lecture and i'm not in the mood for that. "When you're avoiding a variety of people, your pace quickens to leave the place they're at."

He chuckles at my remark, which also means he believes me.

"Am i taking you tonight?" he asks and i look at him with confusion.

"You didn't forget, did you?" he gives me an annoyed look. I just stare at him as he sighs.

"She's going to kill you if you let her know you forgot. Zoe's birthday!" he reminds me and i sigh not wanting to go.

Of course I wanna go for Zoe but if i go i know, for a fact, Joe will be there.

"You have to come." Caspar demands.

"Caspar.." i start to say but he throws one of my cardigans at me. "You promised you would be there. She doesn't know about Joe and you and i won't be the one to tell her and have her be disappointed that a silly thing like that would stop you from going to her party. You're going." he clarifies then exits my room.

"Ugh." i sigh rolling my eyes.
