Having No Regrets (A One Direction Love Story)

Willow's POV

  I laid in my bed, writing a song. I wasn't going to keep doodling, considering how bad I was at it. Luckily, I've always been proud of my songwriting skills.

I looked read some of the lyrics I wrote:

Looking at you, holding my breath

For once in my life, I'm scared to death

I'm taking a chance, letting you inside

The nurse walked into the room and smiled at me. "Willow, you have a couple visitors here to see you." Luna and Zayn entered and sat down in chairs beside the bed.

 "Finally, I have people to talk to and I'm not laying here making poorly attempted art!" I said.

Luna picked up the pad of paper with my drawings on them and laughed. "Why did you draw a hamburger with legs?"

"It's supposed to be a turtle!" I said. That made Luna laugh even more.

"Well sorry we can't all be amazingly talented artists like you, Luna!" I said.

"Is that a fat hotdog inside of a fat bun?" Zayn asked.

"Alright, I get it! I suck at art! It's supposed to be a butterfly, by the way! Anyway, I'm really glad you guys came."

"We wanted to see how you're doing. Niall, Harry, and Lottie should be coming later." Luna said.

"Not Louis?" I asked.

"Well, we're still not on very friendly terms." Luna replied.

"I see. Wait a minute, shouldn't you be at school right now?" I asked.

"I had a counselling session." Luna replied. "It was kind of stupid, the counsellor just asked me the same questions over and over again."

I crossed my arms. "Luna, do not change the subject. It's not like you to skip your classes for no reason. I also know you wouldn't make an appointment for something during your classes."

"Come on, Luna. You told everyone else, just tell Willow." Zayn said.

"I dropped out, ok?" Luna said.

My jaw dropped. "What? Why the hell would you drop out?!"

"My drama professor gave the lead role of the play to someone else because apparently, they're more committed than I am." Luna replied.

"I'm so sorry to hear that. You absolutely deserved that part. You worked so hard and if they can't see that, then that's their loss." I said.

"Yeah, I guess it is." Luna said.

After a while, I saw two people come through the door with a "Get Well" balloon and a bag. It was Rose and Hailey.

"Rose! Hailey!" I exclaimed as they both hugged me.

Hailey took something out of the bag. "We got you a gift!" It was a brown teddy bear holding a red plush heart that said "Feel Better Beary Soon!" in cursive, white lettering.

"Really, bear puns?" I raised an eyebrow and laughed.

"What, you don't like it?" Rose said.

"No, I do! Thank you very much." I replied. "Anyway, this is Luna and her boyfriend, Zayn. Zayn and Luna, this is my sister, Hailey and you already know Rose."

"Nice to meet you guys!" Hailey smiled. I noticed her engagement ring. It was gorgeous.

"Hailey, your ring is so beautiful!" I said.
