The next day, Liam and I were on our way home.
"The wedding was awesome. I'm so sad to have to leave our jacuzzi though." I pouted.
Liam laughed. "That's alright, I miss it too."
There was silence between us as the radio played. It was a good, comfortable silence.
We finally got back to the house and Liam stopped what he was doing and looked lIke he was deep in thought about something.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I want to show you something. We have to get there by car." Liam said.
We got back to the car and Liam drove off. I wondered what it was that Liam had to show me. I hoped it was something good. The way he responded to me earlier sounded pretty serious.
~
Liam pulled up to an apartment building. I was very confused. Was Liam looking at apartments or something? We got out of the car and went inside. There was an elevator that we took up to the fifth floor.
Liam unlocked the door to one of them and we walked inside. It was a really gorgeous apartment. The view of New York was breathtaking.
"Liam, this is beautiful but why did you take me here?" I asked.
"I've been looking at apartment for a while and I really think I want this one." Liam replied. "I want to know what you think of it."
"I think it's awesome but it should be about what you want." I put my hand on his shoulder. "It's your apartment after all."
"That's the thing, Willow. You see, I want this to be our apartment."
I just stood there, surprised. "So you're asking me to move in with you?" I asked.
"Yes, I am. I know it's not big and spectacular like Zayn and Luna's house but I think we'll enjoy living here. If you're not ready, I understand and I don't want to force you to do anything." Liam said.
"I do want to." I replied.
Liam's eyes lit up. "Really? You do?"
"Yeah of course!" We hugged and kissed and then left to go back to the house.
~
We got back and gathered everyone together to tell them the good news.
"We're moving into an apartment together!" I exclaimed with excitement.
Everyone congratulated us. Well, almost everyone.
Niall stood up. "You're moving in with him already?! You haven't even been dating that long!"
"Yes but this is a decision we made together." I said defensively.
"What if you guys have problems again?"
Niall, why the fuck would you say that?! Just keep your business out of our relationship!" Liam snapped.
"You belong with me, Willow! Liam doesn't deserve you after all the shit he's put you through!" Niall yelled.
"She's happy with me! Stop being so delusional! That makes you just as bad as Brian is!" Liam hissed.
"Don't you dare compare me to that psycho!"
"Niall, you may not be a psycho but all this drama is completely unnecessary! You're acting like a fucking child! If you were really my friend, you would be happy for me and support my life decisions!" I couldn't believe how irrational Niall was being. What happened to us being so close?
"I do want you to be happy! Clearly, happiness for you isn't being with Liam! I'm just trying to help!"
"Just fucking stop, Niall! You're not fucking helping at all! And that is happiness to me! You and I are never going to happen so when are you going to get that through your fucking head?!"
Niall and everyone else were speechless and shocked.
"Willow, I-"
"Just save it! I'm tired of your bullshit. It's not my fault you can't respect your own best friend's relationship." I said. "So if that's the way things are going to be, then I don't even want to be frienda with you anymore."
"Willow, I think we should just get out of the house for a bit." Liam said, pulling me along with him to the door.
"Ok." I said barely above a whisper. I was trying to hold back tears.
~
Liam and I were sitting at the park with Starbucks drinks.
"Thanks for bringing me here. I needed this." I sighed.
"No problem. When we're living together, we won't have to deal with Niall's drama."
"I know. I'm really looking forward to it, trust me." I replied.
"It's gonna suck having to deal with him while we're travelling but you'll pull through." Liam said.
"But will you?" I asked.
"Don't know yet. We'll just have to wait and see." Liam replied.
"Speaking of music, have I mentioned how much I love Zayn's new song, 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever'?" I asked.
Liam laughed. "You don't have to. I hear you sing it in the shower almost every morning."
"It's just so good!" I said.
"You're so adorable." Liam smiled.
I blushed. "So are you!"
"So I'll have to let the people selling the apartment know that we're going to take it."
"I'm so excited to live there. It will just be the two of us." I said taking Liam's hand in mine.
"I forgot to mention, we have a jacuzzi in the apartment."
"I did not think it was possible to love you more than I do right now." I replied.
"I knew you'd love that part." Liam winked at me.
"To be honest, I'm more excited about that than living with you." I said jokingly.
"It's really nice to be with you, too." Liam said sarcastically.
My phone rang and my collar ID told me it was Niall calling. I hit the decline option and put my phone back in my pocket. I rested my head on Liam's shoulder and he put his around me. I wasn't going to let Niall ruin our relationship. I was happy with Liam, whether he liked it or not. He was just going to have to deal with it.
I've made several more atempts at getting him to talk to Rose but never had any luck. He always rejected her. He always just complained about how he wanted me instead. I was starting to lose faith in him getting over me but I couldn't give up. He had to move on way or another, even if that meant I had to force him to do it.
