I can't believe I agreed to do this. Today was the day I go shopping with Violet. She offered to pick me up from my apartment and then we'll head to the mall.

We were in the car and Violet smiled as she handed me her aux cord. '"Play whatever you like."

"Okay." I replied scrolling through my downloaded music. "Do you mind if I play Panic! At The Disco?"

"Oh, I don't like Panic! At The Disco. Never have, really." Alright, I was already starting to hate this bitch even more than I do now. How the fuck can you not like Panic!?

"But you said I can play whatever I like."

"Yeah but it would be better if we listened to music we both like."

"Alright, then." I mumbled and I put on some different music instead.

Finally, we arrived at the mall and we went inside. We decided to go into Forever 21 first.

I pulled a really cute sweater off of one of the clothing racks.

"Ooh, that sweater, really?" Violet looked at the top disgusted.

"Yeah, I like it." I said confused.

"I don't think it will look good on you."

"Well I think it will so I'm going to buy it." I said continuing to look through the racks.

"Whatever." Violet mumbled as she rolled her eyes.

That behavior continued when we went to other stores. She insulted me for my taste in clothes, shoes, bags, etc. Anything I even laid my eyes on in any store, she had to make a comment about it. I didn't get where all this was coming from. This was her idea in the first place.

I came not only to make Liam happy, but also to give her a chance. Now, I feel stupid for doing that. I don't even like her as much as I used to and I agreed to spend time with her because she's Liam's best friend and I didn't want to be rude. I could have easily declined her offer to go shopping but no, I said yes. The least she could do is pretend to be thankful.

Eventually, we got hungry and decided to get something to eat at the food court. After I got my food, I sat down at the table where she was.

"Did you really just get a slice of pizza?"

"Yeah?" What was wrong with me eating pizza?

"Why?"

"Because I like pizza." I said slowly.

"That's so fattening, though. I mean, you're basically asking for a heart attack." Violet said as if she knew everything. "I'm just saying, you probably should have gotten salad like me."

"Well, I'm not you." Nor do I ever want to be.

"Whatever, if you want to fuck up your health, that's your problem, not mine." Violet said as she took a bite of her salad.

That's it. I couldn't keep quiet any longer. "You know what? I didn't want to say anything because I really was willing to give you a chance. All you've been doing since the moment we stepped in this mall is criticize me for everything I was interested in buying. I don't know why you even bothered to keep trying. You knew I didn't give a fuck because I bought all those things anyway. I mean, what's the point, Violet? To make you feel better about yourself? That's just fucking pathetic. And the fact that you insulted me for eating a slice of pizza is just sad as well. News flash, I'm not going to get a fucking heart attack from eating one small slice of pizza!"

Violet responded by rolling her eyes for the thousandth time today. I think I shut her up pretty good and I was satisfied with myself.
