While Ava was in the shower, Victor's phone flashed and the name of the caller was his go-to signal that Ava's previous short lived freedom was finally about to end. He slid his finger on the screen and picked up the phone. 'Hello.' He simply said to Evan on the other line. 'They're coming.' He was about to ask but Evan dropped the call. Stressed and nervous he opened the cupboard and took out a glass and poured himself some brandy. Carrying the glass of brandy he sat down on the couch and sipped the drink with thoughts running through his mind. Evan's last words kept running through his head. He wondered what might happen to him and Ava after this. Mostly himself cause he knew what the future held for her. The Montenegro's are feared and respected, he broke that respect by kidnapping their precious jewel a crime he knows he is going to have to pay for.

Moments later Ava came out of the shower dressed for bed with her hair wrapped in a bun. She saw Victor sitting on the couch with a glass of brandy in his hands and a bottle of brandy nearly half empty. She knew he drank that because that's what he did when he was ever stressed. He would drink the night away. 'Penny for your thoughts amoré?' She asked scooting next to him on the couch. 'They're coming Ava.' She sat there with disbelief. 'How?! Who did you tell?!' She screamed and cried. He hated seeing her in this type of situation but what's left for him to do? He tried everything he could but it never seemed to work for him.

'You know your family Ava, they have eyes and ears everywhere. Look...' he tried reasoning to her while cupping her face. 'This is the end of the line for the both of us. What happens after this must be accepted. I want you to try to be happy no matter how hard it hurts. Cause we both know what's going to happen to me after they arrive. I want you to know that I love you.' He kissed her lips and temple.

'Thank you for loving me, even if my family didn't like you. I'll try but I won't promise anything. I love you too.' They sealed the last few minutes with a kiss.

The Montenegro men arrived along with their minions in a black SUV as they pulled to the woods. 'My car is here but they aren't?' The car was parked at the entrance of the woods still in its mint condition. 'Why don't we split up dad? He suggested to his father who was somewhat adamant of his sons decision. 'You take north end and I'll take east end.' He threw his father a radio and made their way to their respective locations.

'So what do we do now?' Ava asked. 'Just sit and wait I know they are here.' Victor got up and headed to the kitchen. He opened up the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink and grabbed the object taped to the top surface of the sink. He walked back to Ava and handed her the object. 'Here I know this isn't ideal but use this to protect yourself in the future. I won't be needing it after today and here is also the keys. If ever you find yourself wanting to emote you this place is for you.' He said sitting down handing her the handgun and house keys. Put those in your bag right away before they take those. Ava nodded and headed to the room.

The cabin stood in plain view. The lights were on showing signs of occupancy. The man made his way to the little cabin and quietly tiptoed to the door not making a sound, but Victor knew someone was at the door and without hesitation he opened it. A man stood with shock written all over his face. 'I've come to get Ava.' The man said with authority.
