Simple
Ava woke up with a huge smile on her face. While everyone was stressing about her wedding she was all smiles and laughter as she was trying the different dresses her stylist had brought over. She apologized to everyone about her actions the day before and she didn't want to mess it up for her family. They do have a reputation to keep and she wasn't about to ruin it by being childish and irresponsible. She didn't want to deal with any confrontations or anybody that would ruin her good mood.
"How do you like it Miss Ava?" The stylist asked as Ava was playing with the wedding gown. She looked at herself in the long three panel mirror. She could see her mother's reflection gazing at her.
"It's nice, but this dress doesn't suit the outdoors. It's too long and princess like. This dress is perfect for a church wedding, but because my wedding is outdoors I prefer something different and more out door friendly that can work for both the ceremony and reception. Do you have something short but simple?"
"Yes Miss Ava. We have a lot of short dress selections here on our rack. This one here is my favorite." The stylist showed her a white sheer short sleeved dress with floral embroideries. It screamed vintage something that Ava admired. It was short and simple. It would be easy for her to maneuver in the dress. If there was one thing Ava didn't like when came to clothing it is the feeling of being restricted. She wants be able to feel free and comfortable.
"Let's try this on!" The stylist excitedly said. The dress complimented her tan skin and it showed off her long beautiful legs. "You look so beautiful Miss Ava! What do you think Mrs. Montenegro?"
"I think Ava looks stunning. It's simple and innocent. What do you think Ava?" Her mother asked trying to fight her tears.
"I love it. It's youthful innocence mixed with vintage simplicity. The veil is an added bonus. I feel free. I don't have to wear a corset or feel sweaty. It's loose but it's also very comfortable." Ava couldn't help but look in the mirror she was so mesmerized at the dress.
"Come back the week before your wedding so we can make final touches to the dress. If you want to make changes just come by to the shop and we will accommodate you there, no appointment necessary. We also do house-calls if you're not able to make it to the shop." Ava was impressed with their professionalism it was no doubt that they cared about their job. A wedding no matter how big or small is still a very stressful task and she applauds the patience those workers had. She can't imagine how many brides and families they encounter and their different personalities that come along with them.
"I told you Tom Ford! Not Tommy Hilfiger!" A heavy aura filled the bridal shop as the men's section was intense. She saw Michael on the other side of the shop trying on his suit. Luckily she wasn't wearing her dress, she wouldn't want any bad luck lingering around her.
"Bro they're the same brown suit." Ava heard Brandon talk to Michael who was standing on the round platform looking at the mirror. "What's the difference? Why do you care what brand suit you wear? You act as if this is a real wedding." Brandon smirked.
Michael huffed. "I know this is a fixed marriage, but I still need to look good. The paparazzi will know that I will be wearing a cheap suit and my image is important to me. That's why I asked for Tom Ford." Brandon hated how narcissistic his brother is.
"This suit is $3,580, how will you be able to afford that Mike?! We both know you're struggle to keep your businesses going and you're in massive debt with student loans and business loans. Take the Tommy Hilfiger suit it's way cheaper. Think about your family. You'll be saving so much money if you get the Tommy Hilfiger suit." Brandon tirelessly looked at his phone as Michael sighed.
"Your brother is right Michael. What's the point of spending a fortune on a suit you're only going to wear only once? Plus, this wedding isn't a grand wedding. It's a private event, no media is allowed at the ceremony or the reception. You have nothing to worry about." Michael and Brandon were pulled aback by the sight of Ava. She was leaning against the wall wear the men's dress hits hanged. Her arms were crossed as she was wearing her silk pearl white robe as her hair extended down to her waist, exposing her long tan legs.
"Ava, what are you doing here?" Michael asked. Ava rolled her eyes and removed her crossed hands.
"The bridal boutique is right on the other side of this wall. Obviously I am trying on my dress for the wedding. I heard your voice and I decided to see if it was really you I heard. I was about to get going anyways. I'll see you soon boys!" Ava quickly said as she rushed out of the men's boutique.
"Why do I get uncomfortable whenever she's around?" Michael asked as started unbuttoning his suit.
"She's not a sociable type. Plus, she hardly talks to people she doesn't know. I am surprised she even spoke to you." Brandon said with a little tension in his voice.
"What's she like?" He asked fixing his himself.
"She's a simple a girl. Way different from Cora." Brandon confidently declared.
