Raul Montenegro
"How dare he turn down my offer?! Who does he think he is?!" Raul screamed scaring his secretary. His son Alvin watch the young newly graduated intern shiver.
"Your blood pressure dad." Alvin simply said to his father. Raul took a deep breath.
"I just don't understand why he would choose Mendoza Enterprise?! They are a bunch of nobodies." A bit calmer, he took he poured some Cognac into his glass and sipped it tasting the bitter flavor.
"Be careful what you say. They are the quickly catching up to our fortune. The last thing we need is another enemy at our throat. They are the biggest and most popular business conglomerate right now. And their CEO/President is one of the youngest out there." Alvin explained to his father. Showing him the countless news articles of Mendoza Enterprise. He took the iPad from his son and scrolled, skimming through the countless articles.
"Have your men keep tabs on them son. I'll also be paying them a visit in the next week or so, so have Renlie set an appointment with their CEO." Alvin looked at Renlie with a smirk. His father was unaware that his secretary was the son of the CEO and President of Mendoza Enterprise.
"Yes sir. Right away!" Renlie quickly said texting his father about Raul Montenegro's visit.
"Now that is settled, how is Ava's debut planning?" He was much calmer and a bit at ease.
"It's going good and I think I found the perfect suitor for her." Raul just nodded waiting to see what his son was going to say. "I chose Michael Solis." Raul's glass broke hearing his name
"Why him son?!" He gritted his teeth, clenched his jaw, and slightly raised his voice at his son.
"See this as his punishment for rejecting your offer. Once he marries Ava, he will be tied to this family and you'll be able to string him like a puppet." Raul smiled. His son knew him very well and he was happy to know that he trained him to be a great persuasive speaker.
"Excellent. Let him enjoy his last two years of freedom. Keep a good eye on him son." He sipped his Bourbon and watched as his son walked out of the office. Once he left. Raul looked out of his window overseeing the entire city.
