Chapter 21

I woke up sweating, every nerve in my body was standing on end and I felt absolutely disgusting.

My tongue felt thick in my mouth and my hands were tingling.

That only meant one thing.

I glanced to the side, looking at the sleeping figures of Grace and Nicole.

I didn't want to move.

If I moved, I'd puke.

But if I didn't move, I'd puke in the bed.

Tough situation.

All I could think about was one time a few months ago when Wesley casually let something drop in conversation about how Grace had really bad anxiety and some of that came from her irrational fear of when people throw up.

So I took a deep breath, waiting for the dizziness to subside before quickly getting out of bed and walking as fast as I could down the hallway.

I burst into the guys' room without even knocking and headed straight for the bathroom, barely making it to the toilet in time.

Pain jolted through my knees as I hit the tile floor, grabbing at the edge of the toilet.

"Shit, Marley." I heard someone say out in the room.

"What's going on?" Wesley mumbled.

"Go wake up Michael." Mark said seriously, walking into the bathroom. "Marley what the hell are you doing?"

I just shook my head, my stomach heaving again as I leaned forwards.

"Jesus." Mark whispered, pulling back my hair. "What the hell did you eat?"

"He said she had the look." Wesley added.

"But why are you in here?" Logan asked, appearing in the doorway with Wesley.

"Because Grace." I managed, sitting back on my heels as I wiped my mouth.

Mark flushed the toilet, frowning at me.

"Because of Grace?" Wesley frowned. "What are you-"

"You said she gets anxiety attacks when people throw up so I was trying not to bug her." I sighed, running my fingers through my hair.

Wesley laughed, rubbing his chin.

"You woke up, knew you were going to puke, and planned it so that you wouldn't wake up my girlfriend? Jesus, Marley, you're an angel." Wesley laughed. "Best sibling award goes to you."

I gave him a look, feeling significantly better than before but still icky.

"I told you she had the look." Michael said, pushing past Logan and Wesley. "Boys, I've got it from here."

"Marley..." Logan said softly from the door.

"Come on." Mark sighed, corralling Wesley and Logan from the bathroom.

Michael sat down next to me, shaking his head.

I felt my stomach twist and tears filled my eyes.

"Are you going to throw up again?" Michael whispered.

I nodded, leaning forwards quickly.

Michael sighed, pulling my hair back from my face for me.

"You got a hair tie?"

I held up my arm as I leaned towards the toilet and Michael sloppily pulled my hair back into a ponytail.

"Thanks." I whispered, resting my elbows on the toilet seat. "I hate this."
