I don't remember passing out.

All I knew was the fact that I was waking up on the cold, hard floor. It was rough, the stones sticking into my back. I groaned as I rolled over, wincing at an acute pain in my ankle. It felt like sharp needles being pricked into my skin over and over.

I gently turned down to it, looking to see what was putting me in so much pain. There was an anklet on my lower leg; a chain attached that was held to the wall. I tried moving it the slightest inch, and electricity crackled from it. It shocked me.

I sighed, exasperated, and used my arms to pull me to the wall. I took in my surroundings.

I was in a cell with three walls, all made of thick concrete. I tried activating my X-Ray vision, but the walls must've been lined with lead, because I couldn't see.

The floors was made of cobble stone. It was rough and unfinished, and would have left bruises and cuts if it weren't for my alien physiology. Dirt was embedded in my skin from my rough slumber. I sucked in a silent breath.

"Hello?" Someone groaned from the cell next to me. "Is anyone there?"

I immediately recognized the voice as my new friend. I shifted towards the wall as much as I could without shocking myself.

"T'ayy?" I breathed.

"Kara?!" She responded, sounding relieved. "Are you okay? I was so worried--"

"What happened?" I asked.

"They shocked you with their stick thing," T'ayy explained. "You passed out. Then they did it to everyone else, including me."

"Oh." I sighed. "Where are we?"

There was a sudden bang from the hallway, footsteps following shortly after.

"I think we're about to find out." She gulped.

The footsteps multiplied, as more men walked in. They all stopped at a cell and opened it, pulling aliens out. There were shouts and screams as people were dragged from the floor and behind them guards.

"Kara--" T'ayy's voice was panicked. "Kara!"

A man pulled her from her cell, and dragged her like a rag doll down the hallway. All the aliens were being taken in the same direction and out the same door. A man stopped by my cell, and opened it with a clank.
