She was back.

I looked at Kara through the window of the med room, taking in the sight of her. I hadn't gone in yet, afraid that somehow she would disappear all over again. My eyes were glued to her figure.

I had taken Kara straight to the DEO after she landed in her apartment. It'd only been a few hours, but she hadn't woken up since she'd arrived here.

"Mon-El," Alex breathed, running into the DEO. "They said they found her?"

"She landed in her apartment while I was there," I stuttered. Alex ignored me, running straight into the room.

Kara's eyes opened in a jolt, her eyes snapping towards the door. Alex collapsed into her, wrapping her arms around her sister.

Kara slowly squeezed Alex to return the hug, a sob escaping her mouth. The two women stayed in that position for a while, whispering things on occasion.

Eventually, they pulled apart, and Alex sat on the bedside. She had a worried look on her face as Kara seemed to explain what had happened at Cadmus. She'd been gone a week, but it felt like forever. Winn walked up behind me, looking at Kara. We watched silently.

"Have you talked to her yet?" Winn asked.

"She's been unconscious since I brought her here," I said. "I haven't had the chance."

He turned to me, his face soft.

"She came back, Mon-El," Winn states. "As far as I know, Jacob didn't help her."

"So?" I questioned. I knew where he was going with this, but I didn't want to even fathom the idea.

It was Kara. She'd never work for Cadmus.

"You know," Winn sighed. "I don't want to think it either. Let's just talk to her and see if it's even possible."

I nodded, biting my lip. I wanted to argue with him. I wanted to remind him that it's Kara and that she isn't the kind of person to betray us like this. But somewhere, deep down I knew he was right.

I walked around the corner, headed for the doors. I opened them, and went inside the room. Kara and Alex looked up at me. Our eyes met.

The ice blue comets that I've slowly fallen for over and over again.

"Mon-El," Alex smiled. "I'll give you two a moment."

She got up and walked to the open doors, leaving the room. I turned back towards Kara, who sat up a little straighter. I sat down at the foot of her bed, facing her.
