25. the flash

I slowly walked up the stairs to my loft, my eyes consciously flying down the hallway. I bit my lip, and continued walking towards my door. I had gotten a suspicious message from Alex saying that I needed to get to my apartment as soon as possible, and an odd text from Mon-El (which only contained random emojis).

I put my keys into the hole of my doorknob, and slowly turned them. I pushed my door open.

"Surprise!" Alex, Mon-El, and Maggie, all yelled in unison.

"What's this?!" I laughed, walking in. I set my bag on my counter.

"I saw how stressed out you were," Mon-El smiled. "So I invited reinforcements."

"We'll do anything we need to do to help you," Alex nods.

"All of us," Maggie adds.

"I also invited a special friend to join us," Mon-El. "He might be able to help with the whole... Cadmus situation."

Barry stepped out from the hallway to the bathroom, smiling. I gasped.

"Barry!" I exclaimed, hugging him. "It's so nice to see you!"

"You too," Barry laughs. He pulled out of the hug. "Mon-El showed up and explained what's going on. I needed a break from everything that's going on in Central-- where better than another Earth to get the relaxation? Even though you need help with another evil person."

I smiled, and turned towards Mon-El. He comfortingly wrapped his arm around me, pulling me into his chest. I put my arm around his hip, and accepted the embrace.

"It means a lot to me," I admit. "Thank you."

"What's first on our night of fun?" Mon-El asked the two other women.

"Night of fun?" I questioned, a giggle escaping me. "That's what we're calling it?"

"It's nighttime," Barry explains. "And it's fun. Night of fun."

"Well, I brought our first source of fun," Maggie announced. "Alcohol!"

"That won't effect me," Mon-El, Barry, and I all spoke at the same time.

We erupted into laughter as Alex and Maggie awkwardly stared at us.

"It's like they're the same person," Alex whispered to her girlfriend. "They all have powers and are extremely awkward."

I was still laughing with Barry and Mon-El. I ended up accidentally yelling a swear word in Kryptonian, causing confusion from Barry. Mon-El just laughed harder, responding with the word profanity in my native language.

"Calm down, you two," Alex smiled. "The evening is just beginning."

"What do you have in store?" I asked, still giggling.

"Uh," Maggie stuttered, holding up the bottle of bourbon. "This was our only plan."

It was a few hours later, when my cell phone rung. Barry was on the couch, and Maggie was with Alex on the stools by the counter.  I was on the floor, sitting with my legs in Mon-El's lap. I reached across him and put it up to my ear, plugging my other one. Maggie was speaking very loudly.

"What's up?" I giggled.

"Hello to you, too," Winn chuckled back. "What's got you all giggly?"

"Maggie is trying to speak French and has said the F-Word at least fourteen times," I mutter, watching her babble on. "Then Mon-El tried to speak it but ended up speaking Kryptonian, and Barry--"

"Barry?" Winn gasped. "Barry Allen?"

"Uh, yeah," I said. "What other Barry do we know?"

"When did he get here?" Winn exclaimed.

"A few hours ago," I say.

"And no one told me!" He sounded angry.

"Whoa, why are you so mad?" I chuckled.

"Mi hombre is in town and no one felt the need to mention it!" Winn groaned.

"Sorry," I choked, glancing at Mon-El. His eyes widened. "Why'd you call?"

"We have a hit for Lilian Luthor's location," Winn grumbled. "You should probably come in to the DEO."

"Okay," I nod. "We're on our way."

I hung up the phone and looked up at everyone, an amused and frightened expression on my face.

"Winn just called with a hit on Cadmus," I announced.

"And?" Alex gasped.

"He found out Barry was here. He sounded pissed."
