"She's dead," Kara breathed. "Lilian is dead."
We were staring at the scene ahead of us, as guards ran out towards the limp figure. I put my arm around her shoulders, pulling her into my chest. Kara hummed.
"We did it," I assured her. Suddenly, Kara pulled away. Her hand was at her ear, and she looked like she was listening to something.
"Alex?!" She exclaimed. "Yeah, yeah we're okay."
A moment passed, and I could hear the murmur of Alex's voice.
"Lilian set up a trap for herself," Kara explained. "She's dead. It's all over."
I bit my lip, and watched as she sighed in relief.
"We're on our way," Kara then turned off her comm, and looked at me.
"What happened?" I asked.
"There's apparently been some video released by Cadmus," Kara announced.
"But Lilian just died," I argued. "How is that possible?"
"Default," She shrugs. "They think they planned it so that if she died, the video would be released."
"Okay," I nodded. "Let's go, then."
It felt as though everything was happening at once. Lilian had just died seconds earlier, and now Cadmus was back at work.
The only thought running through my mind was How is Kara dealing with it?

"What is it?" Kara asked, jogging up to Alex. Winn, Barry, J'onn, Alex, Kara and I were all sitting in front of the large monitors.
"We haven't played it yet," Winn sighed. "We waited for you and told you that it was here. Unlike--"
"Winn, enough about Mr. Allen," J'onn groaned. "We get it, they didn't tell you he was here. Get over it."
"Yes, sir," Winn responds, sarcastically.
"Just play the video," Alex mutters. He shook his head, and pushed a button on the keyboard. The dark screen flickered to life.
An AI head appeared in the center, her emotionless face staring absolutely nowhere. Her expression remained blank.
"We are Cadmus," It drawled. "The real heroes of Earth. Our plans are much larger than you believe. We are much larger than you believe."
