"Anything?" I asked, walking up from behind Winn. I had been pacing in the DEO for hours, waiting for a sign. He sighed, shaking his head.

"Cadmus has gone dark," He says. "All of a sudden, all the alien kidnappings have stopped. The only thing I've gotten is the rise in kryptonite in the atmosphere."

"Can't you track it?" I suggested.

"It's not in any specific area," Winn sighed. "They've spread it everywhere."

I rubbed my hands on my forehead, and a string of profanities escaped my mouth.

"Where's Alex and J'onn?" I said. Winn pointed to a briefing room off to the side, without looking away from his screen. I clapped his shoulder, and went in that direction.

I pulled the door open, and entered the room. Alex and J'onn were silently stressing to themselves. He was pacing the room, while Alex was rubbing her temples.

"They've released--" I started.

"Kryptonite into the air--we know," Alex finished. "Winn told us."

"They know she's Supergirl," J'onn stated. "We have to work fast."

"She's Kara," I say. "She can protect herself."

"Have you ever seen her around Kryptonite?" Alex asked.

"Metallo was kryptonite," I remind her. Alex shook her head.

"No, pure, raw kryptonite," Alex argued. "She's not only powerless, but weak. She can't even stand when she's too close to it."

I gulped.

I was worried about Kara, but I knew her all too well at that point. She may be physically weak, but her morals were still strong. She was strong.

"Okay," I stated. "Then how do we find her?"

J'onn stopped for a moment, and then turned toward us.

"What if we don't find her?" J'onn sounded like he was suggesting something. "What if we let her find us?"

"What do you mean?" Alex questioned. "We just give up?"

"No," J'onn breathed. "What if we reached out to someone on the inside?"

"Like the guy who took her?" I mumbled. "I'd probably kill him before I even learned his name." Alex raised her hand.
