Timothy pulls up to the bakery in his white Jeep. It was his dream car and he spent so long saving for it. He finally purchased it last year and is so proud to finally own it.

"Thanks for dropping me off Timothy. You're the best."
I unbuckle and smile at him.

He smile back.
"It's no problem at all. Anytime you need anything you know I'll help."

"And that's one reason why you're the best."

"You should tell me the other reasons when you get back."
He smirks at me.

"Okay fine. It won't be that hard anyway."
I pull at the handle to get out but he stops me.

"Aren't you forgetting something?"

I turn and face him.
"Um, I don't think so."

"Don't I get a kiss before you leave?"
He asks with puppy eyes and a puckered bottom lip.

I roll my eyes and chuckle as I lean over the seat and give him a quick peck on the lips.

"There you go dork."
I pull the handle again and slip out of the car.

"See you later Ell. Oh by the way, I have something planned for tonight at five o'clock."

My eyes light up. A date with him can make any day brighter.
"What are we doing?"

He gives a sly grin.
"It's a surprise."

I groan.
"Please tell me. At least give me a hint!"

He shakes his head.
"No telling. But I will give one hint... You're really going to like it."

I roll my eyes but smile anyway.
"That's not a good hint."

"Good or bad, that's all you get. I'll see you tonight."

I smile up at him from the ground.
"I'll look forward to it."
I shut the door and walk into the bakery.

I barely have time to say 'hello' before I'm swept up into a hug by Sonja.

"Oh Ellie I heard what happened to your house. I'm so so sorry. That's truly awful."
She pulls away from me but keeps her hands on my shoulders. She looks at me with concern in her eyes.
"How are you?"

I force a smile in return.
"I'm holding up alright."

She gives my shoulders a squeeze and then drops her hands.
"I'm glad to hear it. This can't be easy. So, what can I get for you?"
