Angel left Zachariah with her mother as she and Derrick headed to meet with Drew and LaTrice. She had no clue how this was going to go.

She got into Derrick's car, taking a deep breath.

"You sure you're ready to do this?" He asked, grabbing her hand.

She exhaled, giving him a reassuring smile. "Yeah." She nodded her head.

"Alright." He shift the car's gear to drive.

Almost twenty minutes later, they arrived at the restaurant where they were meeting with Drew and his wife, LaTrice. Angel got more nervous the closer they got to their destination.

Angel and Derrick arrived before Drew and LaTrice, so they got a table.

"This is crazy." Angel said, glancing around the café.

"What's crazy?" Derrick asked. He didn't know what she was talking about.

"This entire situation. I never pictured this being my life." She sighed. "How do you think she'll react when she finds  out exactly who I am? To her, I'm with you and the baby is yours."

"Baby, calm down." He grabbed her hand. "All you have to do is talk to her. She's going to ask questions, but only answer to what you feel comfortbale answering. Don't let her intimidate you, okay?" He looked her in the eyes.

"I just don't know." Angel exhaled. "What kind of person is she? What is she like?"

Derrick wasn't sure how to answer her question. He didn't want to exaggerate about LaTrice but at the same time, he didn't want to understate her either. "She's a strong woman." He answered her. "And so are you." He added. "Don't allow anything she say, get to you."

His words were calming her down. Angel wanted to have this talk and get going, hoping something good turns out in the meeting. She had no idea what Drew's wife was like, but her main message to get across to her was that she doesn't want Drew anymore, she only wants him to be a part of his son's life.

As the chatted a little longer, Derrick and Angel spotted Drew walking towards their table with LaTrice following close behind him.

"Hey, bro." Drew greeted Derrick with a manly handshake, a spoke to Angel. Drew and Angel kept their distance. It felt a little awkward to her, but she knew they certainly didn't want to give anymore ideas to LaTrice.

Both, Derrick and Angel laid their eyes on LaTrice who was staring at Angel.

Drew looked back and saw her standing there. "Baby, come sit down." he pulled her chair out for her.

"This is the woman?" Her eyes shifted to Drew.

"Trice, this is Angel. Angel, this is my wife, LaTrice."

"The same woman that was with Derrick when I was at the hospital with Joy." She then glared at Derrick. LaTrice didn't know what to think was going on, but she didn't want to make assumptions.

Derrick paid her no mind at all.

"You let me stand there and think she was with you and all along she's my husband's mistress!"

"Actually, she is with me." Derrick admitted. "But you never asked me who she was, so I felt no need to tell you."

"Listen," Angel spoke. "I just-"

LaTrice cut her off. "I'm not talking to you just yet." She snapped.

Angel raised her eyebrow, giving LaTrice a nasty look.

"Like I was saying to you," LaTrice focused back on Derrick. "You had me thinking that she was carrying your child." She shook her head, looking at him with disgust.
