LaTrice and Brent were leaving their obstetrician's office and ran into an unexpected guest.
"Are you kidding me?" Brent heard the familiar voice.
They both turned to see who it was.
"Kendra," Brent's heart raced.
LaTrice said nothing as she locked eyes with Kendra's glaring eyes. She the noticed the baby bump that was imprinted on Kendra's top.
"You got her pregnant?" Kendra was not glaring at Brent.
"Baby, go to the car while I talk to Kendra." Brent ordered, handing her the keys.
LaTrice took the keys and began to walk to the car and was stopped in her tracks when she heard Kendra say, "you really outdid yourself, getting two women pregnant at the same time."
LaTrice slowly turned around, with her eyes narrowed at Kendra who was now wearing a smirk. She then looked at Brent who looked guilty.
She looked at Kendra's pregnant belly again and her heart sank.
"That's your baby?" She asked him.
"Trice, listen to me, let me talk to her for a minute." He requested.
"No! Seems like y'all do more than talk."
"And it seems like the reason you can't come my appointments for our baby, is because of her." Kendra glared at LaTrice.
LaTrice was speechless. She couldn't believe that Brent got Kendra pregnant when the two of them were supposed to be starting a life together.
Without saying another word, she turned away from them and walk away, going to the car.
"Trice!" Brent took a few steps closer to her.
"Oh, yeah. Go on and run after your little girlfriend and leave your wife behind. Again!" Kendra said with disappointment.
His eyes were now on Kendra, "How was I supposed to know that you had an appointment today if you didn't tell me?"
"I did tell you! You probably forgot about it since you're all wrapped up in her!" she yelled.
Brent glanced back and saw that LaTrice was almost at the car and went after. "Trice!" He ran to where she was. She'd unlocked the car door and opened the door, but he stood in the way to block her from getting in.
"Move!" she demanded.
"Baby, let me drive." He said.
"No, you can ride home with your wife, since you seem to not want to leave her alone so that you and I get where we want to be."
He made sure that she was clear from the door before he closed it.
"I can tell you what happened when we get home, just give me the keys." He held his hand out.
She didn't look at him the entire time. She let out a angry sigh as she placed the keys into the palm of his hand and walked around the car to the passenger side to get in. Silence filled the car the moment they pulled out the parking lot and arrived to their apartment.
When they got home, LaTrice still hadn't said a word. She headed straight to their bedroom and he followed her. "Trice, talk to me."
"No! You go talk to Kendra!" she yelled. "If you're not ready for us to start something then why am I here? Why are you over her playing house with me if you're not trying to leave her?" she asked.
"I'm not playing house. I want to be with you, I just have to make sure I go through a peaceful divorce as well. Kendra will try to keep me away from my kids and I'm not trying to let that happen." he said.
