Leaving her first therapy session, Mya was releived to walked out of Dr. Franks's office. With Jordan's face being the first face she saw once she stepped out, Mya gave him a smile.
"How'd it go?" He asked.
"It was okay." She responded. "Are you ready to go?" She asked, clutching her purse strap.
"Yeah." He stood up and followed her to the exit door.
Most of their ride home was silent and Jordan didn't want to pressure her or make a big deal about her first therapy session, so he decided not to mention it unless she brings it up.
"I think I'm going to go back to work next week." Mya said, breaking the silence.
"Really?" He was surprised she had going to work in mind.
"Yea. I miss everything about my life. I want to go back to work. Dr. Franks thinks that it's a great idea and a great step to make." she said.
"Well, as long as you're ready, that's all that matters. We could go to the mall and get you a "back to work" outfit." He smiled at her.
"Nah, it's okay. I don't need anything." she rejected kindly.
"Come on babe, we haven't been to the mall in a while."
"How about we go pick up the kids and then we can all have a nice dinner." she suggested.
"Okay, if that's what you want." he made another turn to head to Angel's house.
The afternoon of the following day, Mya and Heaven were at home while Jordan and JJ were out. Cassie stopped by the house to check on them.
"So what are you going to do today?" Mya asked Cassie.
"Girl, I'm about to head home. I am tired." she yawned.
"Now I know you're not working that hard."
Cassie chuckled, "I know I'm not either. It's just that when I get off work, I get so tired."
"Maybe Chris could cater to you when you get home." Mya smirked.
"What's cater?" Heaven interjected.
Mya tried to maintain a smile without laughing. "It's when one grown up is nice to another grown up."
"I wish! Chris is out of town and he won't be back for a few days. I hate being in that big house alone."
"You could stay over here for a few days if you want." Mya offered.
"Oh, that's nice of you, but I don't want to be in y'all's way around here."
"Girl, this big ole house, you will not be in our way. It's fine, you can stay here a few days. We don't have a guest room for no reason." She said.
"Mya I'm hungry." Heaven said.
"Okay baby, your daddy and brother should be here soon with something to eat."
"Let me head home to get some clothes at least."
When Cassie got home, she suddenly felt nausea. She already had the feeling what it was, so she reached into her purse and pulled out the pregnancy test that she purchased early in the day. After taking the test she was hoping to not be pregnant, so she began filling up a duffel bag to get her mind off of it for the moment.
When seh'd goneback into the bathroom, she looked at the results on the pregnancy test and her results were positive, she was pregnant. Cassie didn't know how to feel about that, nor who she was going to tell. She didn't want to call Chris right away, so she figured she could just tell Mya. That way she could at least get it off of her chest.
