"I am finally a free man. I'm single." Drew stated as he walked into his brother's house.
He found his brother talking on the phone, while he was on his couch watching television. "Nah, it's just Drew." Derrick said to his phone.
"Who is that?" Drew asked keeping his voice low.
Derrick put the phone on speaker phone. "I got you on speaker now." He said.
"Waddup brother?" Drew's sister Candace said through the phone.
Drew rolled his eyes a little. "Hey Candy."
"I heard you and that heffa got a divorce?" She said.
"Yep. I'm a single man now. Got any friends for me?" He joked.
"Boy bye! I'm not setting my friends up. I got to make sure these heffas ain't fake like that ex-wife of yours first. I'm sorry for what she did to you." She said, sincerely.
"There's no need for you to apologize, I'm sorry for what I did to her. We were practically even. I just couldn't live with her after what I found out about her."
"I couldn't either. I called her up and went smooth off on her. Doesn't matter what kind of relationship I have with you, you're always going to be my brother, finding out she did that ticked me off." Candace said. "You and I may bump heads, but I certainly won't be choosing her over you."
"Look at y'all having a little heart to heart moment." Derrick interjected.
"Shut up Ricky!" Candace said. "Anyways, I told her ass off and then cut her ass off because I don't play that fake stuff."
Both Drew and Derrick laughed at their sister.
"How's my niece and nephew doing" she asked.
"They're good. Joy loves her brother." Drew answered.
"I'm going to come out there soon, so I have to see them." she said.
"That's fine, just let us know when you'll be here." Derrick said.
"Okay. I'm going to go now. I have some things to do. I'll talk to you two ugly men later."
"You look just like us, so we'll talk to your ugly self later then." Derrick chuckled.
"Boy, I know I'm fine! Ask my man!"
"What man?" Drew laughed.
"Bye!" Candace ended the call.
"That girl a mess." Derrick said. He let out a sigh and flashed a smile, "So, how does it feel to be single?" He asked, chuckling.
"Ya boy is about to go out and celebrate at the strip club tonight." he dabbed his brother.
Derrick chuckled. "You on your own with that one. I got my woman and I'm spending my night with her."
Drew laughed, "I guess I'm keeping my kids tonight then. I may just take them out somewhere."
"Yeah, you should do that. Going out to the strip club or any club could get you into trouble." Derrick joked.
"Where is Joy anyway?" Derrick asked.
"With Trice." Drew answered.
"Oh, Trice is still in town?" He asked.
"Yep. She wanted to spend time with Joy, so they're out and stuff. She supposed to be going back to Nashville this evening."
"Seems like she's got her life planned so quickly." Derrick mentioned.
"Makes me wonder if she'd planned this all out before we went through all of this or if she was cheating too." Drew added.
