Mya pulled up in front of her house and noticed Cassie's car parked outside. Cassie got out the same time Mya got out her car.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Mya asked.
"I have a surprise for you." Cassie answered with a huge grin.
"Umm, okay." Mya glanced around. "Where is it?"
"Um, I actually have to take you to the surprise."
"What's going on?" Mya narrowed her eyes at her friend.
"YaYa, just come on. You'll love it just come on pregnant woman!"
"Cassie, can this surprise wait? I want to relax before I start dinner for my husband."
"No, it can't wait. You'll be back home in no time, so don't worry about that. Now, let's go." She walked to her car.
Mya sighed, she really wanted to go inside the house and relax, but she also wanted to know what this surprise is that Cassie had for her. She made her way to the car and Cassie began to drive.
"So, where are we going?" Mya asked.
"It's a surprise." Cassie answered bluntly.
"Cassandra." Mya was trying to show her that she was being serious.
"Mya." Cassie grinned, not giving in to Mya's seriousness.
"All I know is that if you take me somewhere I don't want to be, I'm going to call my husband and tell him that you've kidnapped me."
Cassie let out a chuckle, "Okay." She smirked.
They were almost at their destination and Mya noticed they were in the neighborhood of the house that she and Jordan were going to move into soon. To her surprise, Cassie pulled into the driveway of her future home. "Why are we here?" She asked.
"Come on." Cassie said, getting out the car.
"This girl is so weird." Mya mumbled to herself before she got out the vehicle. Cassie had already opened the front door and Mya was coming behind her. She could walked too fast with her large belly, so she waddled a bit as she made her way into the house.
"I just want to know, who the hell gave you a key to my house?" Mya asked as she closed the front door. When she turned around, she was facing her husband with a grin on his face. "Babe, what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Surprise!" Cassie came out the next room.
Jordan gave his wife a hug and a kiss.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"He's part of the surprise." Cassie smiled.
"What's this all about?" Mya asked.
"Come up stairs." He grabbed her hand and lead her up the stairs. They passed through the open space that would be their upstairs living room and made their way down the hall. At the end of the hall there were three doors, one was the master bedroom, a bathroom, and one of the children's bedroom. The door for the children's bedroom had the letters, H. M. G., in pink, wooden letters.
"What's this?"
"Open it." Jordan said with a smile.
She opened the bedroom door and was immediately exposed to a room full of pink items and white furniture. "Oh my god! This is gorgeous." She gasped.
Everything was so beautiful that she didn't know where to start. She stood in the middle of the room and looked at her husband, who was still standing in the doorway, smiling at her. It had been a while since he saw her smile the way she was smiling now.
