After a long day at work, both Mya and Jordan were in her bed relaxing, cuddled with each other. Her phone got three text messages in a row, but she didn't want to check them becuase she was with Jordan.
Ignoring the texts on her phone, she suddenly had an incoming call. The ringtone filled the silent room. Looking at the caller ID, she saw that it was Jackson calling and she ignored the call.
"You can take that, baby. I don't mind." Jordan said.
"I'd rather not talk to anyone. I'm enjoying my time with you." She responded. "I can't waint until you move back here." She smiled, as she ran her fingers through his hair.
He smiled with his eyes closed. When he opened his eyes, he caught Mya staring at him. "Why are you staring at me?" He asked, chuckling.
"I just can't believe that one day I'll become your wife and everyday after that, I will wake up to your handsome face." She smiled at him.
"And I'll wake up with these legs next to me." He stroked her legs.
She smirked, rolling her eyes. "Shut up."
He laughed. "But waking up to your beautiful face everyday is a plus."
"I know it's a bonus." She held her smirk. "The best thing that could ever happen to any man."
"Too bad no other man can have you and experience the greatest moments with you like I do, Mya."
She smiled and kissed her fiancé.
Ruining the moment, Mya's phone rang again.
"Baby, answer your phone." He said, a little irritated.
"Nah. I'll call them later." She was having a debate with herself whether or not she should tell him about Jackson, but she realized there was no harm in telling the truth.
Ignoring the call, putting it on silent and then looking at Jordan, she smiled. "Can I ask you something?"
What's up?" He asked, open for anything she has to say.
"How would you feel about me hanging out with an old friend?" She asked.
He frowned a little. "Um, Mya, you're a grown woman." He chuckled. "You can hang with whoever you want to."
She chuckled at his response. "A male friend, from college?" She clarified.
"Male?"
She nodded.
"He's not an ex boyfriend, is he?"
Hesitation toook over her face as she tried to answer. "Um, sort of."
"Either y'all were together or y'all wasn't."
"We had a thing going on in college, but we never were official or anthing. We were practically friends with benefits." She said honestly.
"And now y'all are going to hang out?" He questioned.
"Well, we already have been hanging out." She admitted.
"Then why in the hell would you ask me if you can if you already have?"
"I'm just catching up with an old friend and I want to be sure that you don't mind. I don't want you to be uncomfortable with me hanging out with him." She explained.
"Well, I really don't like the idea of you hanging out with a guy you use to casually have sex with, but I know that you're mine and I have nothing to worry about." He kissed her lips.
She gave him a warm smile. "I should have you two meet. You'll like him. He's a NFL player, for the Saints."
"Really? That's what's up. Maybe he could hook us up with some season tickets."
