LaTrice woke up with the arms of the love of her life, wrapped around her. Trying not to wake him up, she galnce behind her and saw that he was still sleeping. They've been staying at a hotel for about a week because they've been waiting for their apartment to be availible for them to move in. LaTrice didn't care where they were living, as long as she was with Brent.
They'd talked about their plans previously and decided that they were going to divorce their spouses and marry each other and start their own family. Thinking of starting another family with Brent causes LaTrice's mind to drift to the thought of her daughter. She missed Joy and the only way she could talk to her daughter was if she talk to either Drew or her mom and she didn't want to talk to either one of them.
Before she got into deep thought, she felt Brent's hand stroking her stomach. She looked back at him again and caught him staring at her. "What?" She giggled.
"Good morning beautiful." He smiled at her.
"Good morning." She replied. "Did you want to go down for breakfast or did you want to have room service bring it up?" She asked.
"I'd rather have breakfast in bed." His hand roamed her body.
"You had that last night." She said.
"And I want more." He responded. "We have years of making up to do, so you may as well be prepared for everything I'm going to give you." He grinned.
"Everything?" She asked.
He nodded his head with a confident smile. "I missed you so much. I never even imagined you coming back into my life after I moved."
"Because when you moved, I couldn't just up and leave with you and besides, we made an agreement to not contact each other." She said.
"I know, but look where that got us now. I don't know why either of us wasted our time being married to Kendra and Drew, but it brought us back together." He kissed her bare shoulder.
LaTrice was extremely happy to be with Brent again. After all of the years that had passed and they're reunited.
Brent looked at the time and saw that it was time for him to get up. "I'm going to start getting ready for work." He got out the bed.
When he walked into the bathroom, laTrice checked her phone to see that she had several missed calls from Drew. She didn't want to talk to him, she only wanted to talk to her daughter. She was going to call to speak to Joy later on that evening.
Brent sat at his desk in his office and there was a knock at the door.
"Come in." He said without looking up.
Once his door opened, he looked at up and saw Kendra.
"K, what are you doing here?" He asked.
"I only came to talk to you." She closed the door.
"About what? I'm sure it can wait until we meet with our lawyers in a few days." He kept his eyes on his computer screen.
She sat her purse on his desk and sat in the empty chair. "We were doing just fine before that woman showed up at our house." She said. "Everything was great."
Brent sighed.
"But you get this call from Drew, saying that him and LaTrice were coming and next thing you know, I find all of y'all in my living room, having a very intense moment."
"Where is this going?" Brent asked, irritated.
"I want to know what's really going on? We've been married for eleven years and we were doing just fine until they showed up. How is it that this woman, who lives in another state, was able to come to my house and take my husband away from me?"
