Chapter 5 - Let Bygones Be Bygones

Angel has been off of bed rest for a week now. She went to the studio for Heaven's rehearsal. Every time she sees Mya she feels nothing but shame for trying to ruin her relationship with Jordan. In her mind she's apologized so many times. Mya was a nice woman and Angel felt bad for what she did to her and how she treated her.

Both women don't really talk unless they're discussing someone about dance. Mya shows nothing but kindness towards Angel and she does the same. 

Angel was in the locker room helping Heaven get dressed. Heaven was such a busy body and wouldn't be still. 

"Heaven, please be still for mommy." Angel sighed, trying to put Heaven's shoe on her foot.

Mya walked into the locker room to post a sign on the wall.

"Ms. Mya!" Heaven said with excitement as she ran to Mya giving her a hug.

"Hi, sweetheart." Mya hugged Heaven. She glanced at Angel who was smiling at the two of them.

Angel notice the slight bond between Mya and Heaven. She knew Heaven loved Mya.

"You did really good at rehearsal today." Mya smiled.

Angel was smiling at the cute conversation Mya and Heaven were having. Just when she was about to stand up, Angel's smile faded as she felt sharp pain in her abdomen and began to breath heavily.

Mya was alert as she looked at Angel. "Angel? Are you okay?" She asked.

Still breathing heavily, Angel shook her head, rubbing her belly.

Mya almost paniced. "Okay, um, I'm going to take you to the hospital." Mya said. "Heaven, grab you mommy's purse and you bag, and follow me and mommy to the car." Mya rushed to Angel side, gently helping her up.

She drove them to the emergency room, hoping Angel was okay. After the nurses admitted Angel into a room where the doctors evaluated her, Mya and Heaven sat in the waiting room.

"Is mommy okay?" Heaven asked.

"Yeah, she's fine." Mya answered. "She just needed someone to check on your baby brother or sister." Mya wasn't sure what Angel was having.

Moments later, one of the nurses came from Angel's room and into the waiting room, apporaching Mya and Heaven. "Hi, are you Mya?" She asked.

Mya stood up. "Yes. Is she alright?" She asked.

"She's feeling better, but we're going to have to delivery this baby today." The nurse stated. "Ms. LeBlanc sent me out here to ask you to call her someone named Derrick and have him come up here as soon as possible." She plled out a cell phone."This is her phone. She said his name is in her recent calls."

Mya thanked the nurse and found Derrick's contact information. She called him and told him that Angel was at the hospital and he said he'll be on his way.

 Mya asked if she and Heaven could see Angel, they allowed them to see her for a few moments.

Afterwards, Derrick had made it to the hospital and was in the room with Angel as Mya sat in the waiting room with Heaven. She was texting Jordan everything that was going on, he even called and talk to Heaven.

Although Mya and Angel had a rough relationship, Mya was still concerned about Angel's health.

After some time, another hour passed, Heaven had fallen asleep in Mya's lap. Derrick came into the waiting room.

"How is she?" Mya said softly. "Is the baby doing okay?"

"She's doing fine." He answered. "They're going to deliver the baby pretty soon, and don't worry, the baby is doing fine as well." He added. "You know, you didn't have to stay all this time. I'll take Heaven." He said.
