Cassie was furious when she got home. Chris has been texting her ever since she hung up the phone with him. She ahdn't responded to any of his messages because she'd already told him what he needed to hear from her. His time was running out and she knew he was still in Atlanta, so she began to pack some of her things and leave the house.
As much as she didn't want to, she had to do it to prove her point to Chris. She didn't mind him helping Allie, but she felt that he was doing more than what he was obligated to do. Cassie didn't care much for Allie because of Destiny and Jackson and how much it effected Mya.
Leaving the house, the first place she thought to go was to Mya's house, but she didn't want to be in the way of Mya and Jordan with what they're going through, so she'd gone to a hotel instead.
It was almost three in the morning when her sleep was interrupted by a phone call. Fluttering her eyes open, she look at the screen and saw that it was Chris calling her. She ignored the call and noticed she had four missed calls from him.
Cassie turned over, resting her head on the pillow again and then her phone sounded off agian. She knew it ws Chris calling and this time she answered the phone.
"What?"
"Cas, where are you?"
"Why?"
"Come on baby, I tried to get back as soon as I could. I need you to come home." He said in a clam voice. "I need you here, with me."
"Oh, you need me at home with you but not in Atlanta with you and that girl?" she snapped.
Chris sighed, "baby, it's nothing like that. I just wanted to help her."
"You're helping her way too much, Chris. If that girl decides she wants to run off to another country and get into some trouble out there, she's going to call you and expect you to come to her rescue!"
"I wouldn't." He said. "Can you come home please so that we could talk about this?"
"Nope. I actually need to be getting some sleep. Maybe you should call Allie and she'll keep you company for a while I guess."
"Cassandra, don't be like that. There's nothing going on between me and Allie, that I can promise you. I have no feelings for her and I just wanted to help her. I had to make sure she was okay."
"No, you need to be making sure that I'm okay, while you're running around with her! I'm your woman, not her! Have you ever stopped to think that Trent could have tried to hurt me?"
"Why would he try to hurt you? You didn't do anything. He wouldn't do anything to you." Chris said.
"But he did!" Cassie blurted out.
"What? What you mean he did?"
Cassie was silent.
"Cassandra, what did Trent do to you? Tell me."
She sighed. She didn't mean to say it out loud. "Nothing, Chris. I'll talk to you later."
"Cassie, don't hang up." he then heard the beeping indicating the call had ended.
Cassie wanted to tell Chris about what happened, but she couldn't. She put her phone on silent and laid in the bed for a while until she was able to fall back asleep.
When she awoke that morning, she checked the time on her cell phone and saw that she had missed calls and messages from Chris. She ignored it and got out the bed to get her day started.
