" It's one party, Scott. Just one. How will you know one party's gonna hurt you if you won't even go? " Stiles asked as his hands tapped on the steering wheel of his jeep.

" It's not that. It's just that it feels kinda weird to go to someone else's party. " Scott defended as he looked anxiously outside.

Yes. Scott and Stiles had grown really close with each other. At least only since Theo left. Theo was after all the closest friend Stiles could be with and still, they hated each other but like I said, it was the best friendship Stiles could get with anyone. And Theo left. So, Scott and Stiles were the only guys left in the pack. They didn't even know it but they've grown really close with each other. Like best friends to be exact.

Now, the two of them were inside Stiles' jeep and driving to a party of one of Stiles' cousins. Scott had been thinking about how awkward it'd be to go to that party since he didn't know the celebrant. Plus, how much more with all the people at the party.

" Look, man. Just don't think about it. It doesn't matter if you don't know the girl. I don't even know the girl's friends' group of friends' friends. " Stiles said.

Scott furrowed his eyebrows looking at Stiles who gave him a look as well. Stiles scowled.

" Why do you have to be so worried all the time? This our night! Party, getting drunk and wasted. Girls everywhere. You can bring one home tonight. Or more? " Stiles said starting to smirk.

Scott couldn't help but laugh a bit. " I think you forgot that werewolves don't get drunk. "

Stiles frowned. " Really, Scott? Look, we're gonna move on tonight, alright? We're moving on from Lydia or Allison. "

Finally, Scott and Stiles arrived. They parked on the roadside but then they noticed something odd about the party. Yes, there were lights going around and trash everywhere on the front yard. The thing that made the whole thing odd was that no one seemed to be in the party. There even was no music playing.

Scott and Stiles looked at the house puzzled before they looked at each other. Then, the two hopped of the jeep starting to walk to the front door.

" Is the party supposed to be like this? " Scott asked placing his hands in his pockets.

Stiles kept looking around the house before he shook his head.
" Uh, nope. Have you ever encountered a party this quiet? No, not one of Cora Hale's birthday parties. " he said before he went for the doorknob slowly.

As soon as they opened the door, the place was still so quiet. Disco lights were still on and it looked like someone left the alcohol running since the stench stunk everywhere around the place. Party trash were everywhere around the place. It looked like the people in the party must've left in a hurry because it would be impossible if no one arrived since the place was pretty trashed.

Scott and Stiles studied the house before starting to walk in slowly.

" So, this Cora Hale, if she's your cousin then you must know if her birthday parties get a little off the limits. " Scott suspected.

" What, you think the cops must've came in and sent everyone away? No. As far as I remember, Cora keeps her parties from getting off the limits. "

Scott and Stiles knew something was up so both of them started exploring around the house. They couldn't find anything downstairs so they started going to the rooms.

Now, that was where the strangest thing happened.

Scott and Stiles split up. Scott went ahead to check out the master bedrooms of the parents. The weird thing about it was that there literally was nothing in the room. It looked like the room was new since there was nothing in it. No bed, no furniture. Nothing but the windows. Scott furrowed his eyebrows in confusion at how this could be. He walked out of the room and saw picture frames with no objects in them. Just the backgrounds. Scott's phone rang and he looked at it seeing Allison calling him. Scott then remembered Stiles' words about moving on. He sighed and ended the call before he looked up at the picture frames again.
