Water ran down and dropped on the tiles of the bathroom floor. Her body soaked in lukewarm water. Her strawberry blonde hair down and damp. The glasses showed the moisture from the heat of the water. She turned the faucet to the right direction turning it off. Sliding the bathroom's door glass open, she stepped out of the shower completely bare. Of course, the door was closed and locked. She grabbed a towel and started drying her hair with it. She faced herself on the mirror and wiped the moisture with her hand. There, she saw a young lady with pale white skin, luscious lips and emerald green eyes staring into hers. It was her reflection.
Then, something flashed into her mind. Her subconscious couldn't help the thought of what happened the other night.
" What do you want me to do? "
" I want you to leave. That's what I want you to do. "It was the night where Stiles gave Lydia a surprise in her room with his presence after the incident at the lacrosse practice. That may have happened days ago but her stubborn mind couldn't help but repeat the images of what happened that night. It was also the last time she saw him. She never heard anything from him ever again.
It turns out, Stiles wasn't an intruder in her room since her parents let him in themselves. They thought he was pretty good looking, of course. And they couldn't help but be too surprised that their daughter was actually friends with this pretty attractive boy. They even forgot Lydia was already with Scott. So, yeah. They let him in. And Stiles' purpose there for him was to apologize what he did to her earlier and other things. You guys know what I mean. And he practically wanted to sort things out for them. Is there even a THEM?
Stiles slammed the door shut with his hand. " Lydia, please! "
And that's when she couldn't take it anymore. Her subconscious and inner goddess disappeared.
" What the hell do you want from me?! " Lydia raised her voice.
" You wanna know what I want, huh? " Stiles bit his cheeks inside his mouth.
" YES! " she replied." All I've ever wanted was to be friends, Lydia. That's all I've ever wanted until you got us into the next level. "
What the fuck? " Next level? What the hell are you talking about? "
" I'm talking about... " Stiles stopped. He looked like he couldn't say whatever wanted to say. It was like it was just stuck right there inside him.
Lydia gave him a confused look and at the same time giving him a look to just proceed and get it over with.
" Stiles, just spit it out! "
" It's you, Lydia! The way you are, it just drives me crazy in some ways I can't even put my finger on. I know it's wrong to feel and act like this around you but I can't help myself. And seeing you hurt after what I did in the field, it pains me. Do you hear me? It pains me! Cause I know I caused you that pain and I don't care how minimal you think it is but it's true. It's wrong to be like this even when I know very well that I am with Allison. It's wrong, Lydia. Oh, fuck. It's so wrong but every time I look at you, that wrong feeling? It just disappears. And I know, in some ways, you feel the same about me too. "And, it was out.
Lydia was completely speechless. She just stood there staring up at him blankly drinking every syllable that came out of his mouth and memorizing every word he said. She just couldn't. She couldn't even think. And most likely, she couldn't talk anymore.
" Okay? So, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I feel this way around you. " Stiles said as he exhaled softly and shook his head in disapproval. He lightly rubbed his temple. His hands were resting on his waists.
