Mark heard Sheila scream and walked into the garden to see what was going on. He saw Sheila laying on her back onto the lawn with Millie on top of her, trying to tickle her while Sheila screamed for forgiveness. Millie loved the way Sheila acted as being her victim and her eyes shined brightly, when she saw her uncle Mark. "Look uncle Mark! I've won, now auntie Sheila has to read me a bedtime story". Mark frowned. "Are you going to bed already than?" he asked. "Nooooo, of course not silly", Millie said as if he asked a very dum question. "But tonight", and she waved into the air with her little arms to express how late that would be, "when we are going to sleep, she promised me to read me a story which I am aloud to chose." Mark laughed because of the enthusiastic way his little niece tried to explain, what she had arranged with her auntie Sheila.
Mark thought about the day, they went to his parents to tell them, they were going to get married. Millie had been there with his brother and she immediately excepted Sheila as her new auntie Sheila. Especially after Sheila had read her a bedtime story, Millie took her into her heart to never let go. Little children always feel flawlessly, if they could trust someone or not. Mark's body got warm, thinking of the last year together with Sheila. Yes Millie could trust her auntie Sheila for hundred percent.
"She's so good with children", his mother Marie said softly as she walked into the garden with her glass of wine in her hand. Hmmm, Mark answered while his thoughts were still with Sheila who was laying on the grass. "Does she know something more about her fertility yet?" Marie tried again. Now she had Mark's attention. "Sshhh mum, what if she hears that?" Marie pulled him at his arm into the house. "What does she say about it herself? She needs to think of you as well. You deserve to know if it's possible or not." Mark rolled his eyes. He loved his mother, more than anything, but sometimes she wanted to know to much, to quickly. "She needs time mum and I give her all the time she needs. We have a wedding to attend to as well", he blinked at her. "Sheila wants to focus on that first". "And in the meantime Mark loves to keep on practicing", Barry said out loud smiling, when he slammed Mark on the back. Asshole! Mark shouted like if he was angry and tried to grab his brother by the arm. But Barry was quicker than Mark and ran outside. Colin, who just wanted to walk into the house bumped into his two brothers, who dragged him with them into the garden. Mark was determined to take revenge on his brother and ran after him as Barry tried to get away.
Millie immediately released her auntie Sheila as soon as she saw her uncles running around through the garden, with her father behind them. Running, falling and laughing together, they rolled over the lawn. Mark took revenge on his two brothers now, while Millie hung on his back. She loved her uncle Mark more than anything, but as he teased her father, her behavior changed. No one was aloud to get to her father. Sheila laughed as Millie had found Mark as her new victim now and she was finally able to stand up from the ground. Boys the meat!! They suddenly heard Marie screaming. Dark smoke came out from under the barbecue top and Collin stood up immediately to see if it was really that bad, as it looked like. Laughing out loud because of Collin's face as it concerned his beloved barbecue, made the two brothers forget where their, so called fight, started about.
The evening became a huge success, especially when they found out that the meat tasted better than ever. Jokes went over the table about almost everything, when Mark suddenly realized he hadn't seen Sheila for a while. He walked into his parents house to see if she was there. His dad pointed upstairs, when he saw his son searching for her around the house. What's she doing upstairs? Mark asked softly. But his father just smiled and said, go and see for yourself. As he came onto the first floor, he heard Sheila softly talking as if she played in the fairytale herself. They were sitting on his parents bed, while Millie lay against Sheila's body, crawled up with her legs underneath her. Sheila had her arm around her, so she could hold the book in front of Millie. Mark knew how big she had grown already, but seeing her laying there in Sheila's arms in her pink Tinklebell pajamas, made him realize how little she still was. Her eyes were already closed. Millie had been fallen asleep.
