Time to relax

Mark had taken a shower and already felt better, then a half an hour ago. Still......the fact that, when something would happen, could mean he would lose her for ever, was a thought he couldn't get out of his head. Suddenly he heard someone knocking on his door. He opened the door with just his towel rapped around his hips. It was Shane, smiling at him. Hé buddy! Not ready yet? Being a man of details, Mark was always on time. So it wondered Shane, he wasn't now. How was your evening with Sheila? Did you guys have fun? Shane thought they had been away on a date, drink some and each went his own way home again. But he didn't know how much he was mistaken by this thought. Mark stared outside the window and said softly, I staid the night with her. Oh Mark! Shane said out loud. Did you really have to sleep with her right away? And what if things go wrong? Louis will definitely fire her and then we lose her. She's our friend and support too. Mark turned around and Shane could see the pain in his eyes. I didn't think of that Shane. I couldn't.... I never ever felt this way for anyone. Mark silenced. The thought of losing her scared the hell out of him. Oh Shane, I don't even know where to begin, to tell you how great it was. Mark started to tell Shane what had happen that night. Not every detail, but Shane got the message. When he was ready telling him, Shane didn't know what to say. They both stared out of the window. Than Shane whispered, oh Mark, what if Louis finds out? Sheila is everything to him, but you're his income. I don't mean that in a wrong way, but he would have to let go of Sheila when things go wrong between the two of you. I promise you, they won't. Mark looked aside at Shane. He had never seen this look in Mark's eyes before. Mark was his best friend, he knew him better then he knew himself and Shane could see, this was the real thing for Mark. He suddenly embraced him and said, I am happy for you Mark. I really hope this will last. If it does, you have just picked yourself a hell of a great woman. You won't get any better than this, don't you ever forget that. Even when things get rough some day. Mark embraced Shane again and friendly hit his hands on Shane's back, feeling all emotional. When they let go of each other, Shane looked at him and said, she really got to you, didn't she? Mark smiled in a shy way. Yeah, who would have thought that?

Mark walked into the breakfast room together with Shane when he saw her twirling around the breakfast table with her plate in her hand. Well, I think you made someone very happy, Shane smiled and pushed Mark against his shoulder. Mark didn't wanted to let the others notice, that they had fallen in love with each other. But when he saw her moving around like that, in this cute dress the lads had bought her yesterday, he couldn't stop the feeling of wanting to grab her and hold her close to him. Sheila saw him coming in and her eyes told him more than he wanted to know right now. He felt his body respond and that was something he definitely couldn't use. Good morning sweethearts, Sheila said with a mysterious tone in her voice. Shane put his arm around her shoulder and kissed her on her cheek. Good morning sunshine! You are looking great and happy this morning. I am glad to see, you're doing well. Sheila's eyes were shining like never before and Shane was so glad for the two people he loved so much. But it also concerned him. He kept on thinking of "what if...." . But seeing the love in their eyes, he couldn't think of anything negative right now. It finally happened to Mark, like it had happen to him and Gillian as well and suddenly he missed her more, than he had ever done before.

Nicky had told Kian already what had happened, but in contrast to the others, Kian didn't saw the negative side of it. He could only smile about the way Sheila was behaving, all happy and fully in love with his friend and the reaction of Mark, who failed indescribably in hiding his excitement about his newly found love. In a way, everyone knew something had changed between them, but most of the crew thought it was because Sheila had revealed her problems from the past and she was relieved about that. They all smiled about her happy behavior and changed look, because they all wished her completely happiness, like they would for everyone else they liked so much. Suddenly they heard the director calling for them all. Time to go! There's work to be done, let's move! Within an instant Sheila was back on earth again and focused on her job..
