Eleven lay in her room and looked out the window. Her thoughts were interrupted when her mother knocked on El's bedroom door.

"Hey, Jane, are you okay?", she asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine.", replied El.

"You know, I think it's time you go back to Hawkins."

"Why? Do you not want me here?"

"No, no that's not it at all."

"Then what is it?"

"I just think your dad would want to see you again."

"But when he was on the phone, he sounded pretty mad."

"I'm sure he's calmed down now and would love you back home."

"You think so?"

"I do."

"Okay, I'll go back."

"Great, I'll take you tomorrow."

"Okay."

"Goodnight honey.", said Terry coming to give her daughter a goodnight kiss.

"Goodnight.", replied El before getting ready for bed and letting her mother leave.

--

"Are you ready?", said a woman besides Levi at the police station.

"Ready.", replied the young man.

Slowly, the woman opened a door revealing a room with two sides and two telephone on each side.

Levi went to sit at the very end booth and waited for his father.

Finally, he came and sat opposite his son.

"Hey dad.", Levi said through the telephone.

"Levi.", replied his father tears glossing his eyes. "How have you been?"

"Good, you?"

"I'm great, thanks for asking."

"How's school? All A's?"

"All A's."

"That's my boy."

"Hey, how's that girl your dating?"

"Hannah? We aren't dating anymore."

"Oh, shame. She was a good kid."

For a while there was silence.

"Levi, I'm sorry I haven't been there for you lately."

"It's fine, it's not your fault."

"Yes, yes it is and I regret all my bad decisions. I promise when I get out of this hell hole I'll try and be a better dad."

Levi said nothing.

"Alright, time's up, let's go kid.", said the voice of the woman standing behind Levi.

"GoodBye son."

"Bye."

The young man followed the woman to outside of the room and into the front desk.

"Uh, thank you."

"No problem. Get home safe kid.", replied the lady before letting Levi out of the police station.
