Astrid watched as Hiccup talked with Merida. She really didn't like it. She sighed and walked back to her locker. As she was getting her things to go home, she felt a tap on her shoulder.

"Hey."

Astrid turned around to see Hiccup and Merida. "What do you two want?"

"Oh, we just wanted to invite you to Celeste's party tonight." Merida said, pushing Hiccup behind her.

Astrid grunted as she slammed her last locker. "No thanks, there's a track meet tomorrow morning, and I need to get some sleep."

Hiccup looked down a bit and walked off, disappointed.

Merida stepped a little closer to Astrid so that they were face to face.

"Jealous?" she asked with a smirk. Astrid tried her best to keep a straight face. "Are you jealous of the fact that Hiccup and I are madly in love?"

Astrid kept her straight face, even though she really wanted to punch Merida's lights out. "No, I'm not jealous, I just wish I was able to spend some more time with my friend." Astrid said, trying her hardest to keep calm.

"Keep tellin' yerrself that, hon." Merida said as she poked Astrid's nose. "Ohh Hiccy-boo!"

Astrid gagged as she began to slowly walk out of the school. As she walked through the halls, she saw her ex, Eret, making out with Celeste, Merida's enemy, as well as Astrid's.

Astrid sighed. Hiccup was the one who helped her through her messy breakup. It was then that she realized she had feelings for him, but a few days ago, he and Merida had started dating. Merida was a nice enough person, except for when she found out about Astrid's feelings for Hiccup, she soon began to make Astrid's life the absolute worst.

Astrid sighed as she looked out of her bedroom window. It was around 9:00pm and she had just finished her homework. She could see Celeste's house in the distance, she saw the colored lights flashing through the windows.

Man, I almost wish I was there. Or that Hiccup hadn't started dating Merida, then we'd be over at his house watching movies, like we do every Friday night.

The sound of Astrid's phone ringing interrupted her thoughts. She was surprised to see that it was Hiccup who was calling her.

"Hey, Hic, thought you were at Celeste's."

"Ehh, it's a long story, I'll explain later once you come pick me up if that's okay."

"Sure, you're an Celeste's, right?"

"Yep, and can you please hurry?!"

"Jeez, I'm on it."

Astrid hung up and bolted downstairs.

"Astrid, hon, where are you going?" Astrid's mom called as Astrid grabbed her keys.

"Just over to Celeste's."

Her mom gave her a warning glare. "Astrid, you know you have a track meet tomorrow."

"I know, I'm just going to grab Hiccup, I'll keep ya posted!" Astrid yelled as she ran out the door.

As Astrid mounted her Vespa, her phone buzzed with a text from Hiccup.

Hiccup: Hey, I'm in the west bathroom, just park outside of the window and I'll jump out.

Astrid: Got it.

Once Astrid made it to Celeste's, she was stopped by Merida.

"Astrid!" Merida called as she ran up to her. "So glad ye could make it!" Merida cried as she hugged Astrid tightly.

"Merida, you're drunk, get off." Astrid said as she tried to push Merida off.

"No way! Ye should come in an stay awhile!"

After a few minutes of struggling, Astrid finally managed to get out of Merida's tight grip. Astrid snuck around to the west side of the house where she could see an open bathroom window.

"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, GET YOUR BUTT OUT HERE!!" Astrid screamed.

A few seconds later, Astrid was holding Hiccup bridal-style. Both of them were staring at each other awkwardly.

"You wanna put me down now?"

Astrid dropped Hiccup on the ground and began to run over to her Vespa, Hiccup not far behind.

"So where we going?" Astrid asked as she tossed Hiccup her extra helmet.

"Your house. NOW!" Hiccup said as he hopped onto the Vespa.

"Alright! Geez." Astrid mumbled as she began to drive.

Once they had made it, Hiccup darted into the house as fast as he could.

"Geez, Hic, you act like the FBI are following you or something." Astrid joked as she hung up her helmet.

"No. It's something even more dangerous. Merida." Hiccup said as he closed all of the curtains.

Astrid laughed. "Hiccup, it's Merida. She wouldn't hurt you, after all, you are her "Hiccy-boo"."

Hiccup grumbled as he began to build a pillow fort. "Not unless you've dumped her."

In her mind, Astrid was yelling "YES!", but she tried her best to keep a straight face.
"Whatever happened?"

"I caught her in the bed with Eret." Hiccup said as he climbed into the fort, Astrid crawling in behind him.

"Oh."

Hiccup sighed. "Yeah. I was gonna dump her anyway."

Astrid looked over to Hiccup. "Why were you gonna dump her?"

Hiccup sighed. "Well, I've found out that I actually have feelings for someone else."

Astrid's face fell. She sighed as she began to climb out of the pillow fort. Hiccup put a hand on her shoulder.

"And she's right here."
