Hiccup's POV
Yawn. I woke up with a stretch. It was another beautiful rainy day on Berk. I got up and went downstairs for some breakfast. I ate. And then I went over to Astrid's house for a little bit. I knocked on her door and she answered.
"Hey, Hic, how's it been, you're soaking wet." Astrid greeted.
"Please don't call me Hic. And the reason why I'm soaking wet is because if you haven't noticed, it's raining outside." I said, annoyed.
"Right, right. Anyway, you wanna come in?" she asked.
"Sure." I said, looking down at her. Wait. I was looking down at her.
"Something wrong?" she asked, noticing me thinking.
"Oh, nothing, just the fact that I just realized that I am now taller than you." I said. She gave me a really weird look.
"So what, it's not a big deal." she said, obviously trying to hide the disappointment.
"Oh no, you've been teasing this talking fishbone for too long! You've loved the fact that you were taller than I was, now it's my turn to be taller than you!"
"You may be taller now, but I'll have my growth spirt soon enough."
Three years later
Astrid's POV
I looked up at Hiccup. "OH COME ON!"
