Alright...

Okay so the reason why I'm not doing this in Basically a Public diary is because I know a lot more people will see it on here.

So, it has come to light that a very popular user XxPinkskyxX2 might be leaving the fandom. I know a lot of my readers like to read her stuff, so I want to talk to you all about this.

I will not be mentioning her account because I don't want her to get wrapped up in this, I only want you guys to understand what's going on.

Now, I know a lot of you are disappointed by this. I am too. But we must understand that this is her decision, even if she hasn't made it yet. If she feels like writing Hiccstrid is a chore(much like how I felt), then she shouldn't have to write it anymore. I noticed a few comments telling her to reconsider, not for her, but for her fans. That irked me to be honest. I can understand that being selfless is something that should happen sometimes, but on a fanfiction website for a Hiccstrid fanfiction? Really? I get that you love her stories and want her to keep updating, but if she doesn't want to, then she doesn't have to. It wouldn't be fair to her if she's forced to keep writing because her fans want her too.

I understand that she is a much more popular writer than I(just look at my 38 followers compared to her 1.17k), and that I probably won't make much difference, but I would like to do what I can. 

However, with this new development, I may or may not start writing fanfiction again.

Yeah! I like those too! I might end up making another profile just for that, or I might just keep it all on here. Obviously I'll just start off with slice of life one-shots, because that's what I feel comfortable with at the moment.

Anywho, please respect whatever decision she makes, just, don't be too big of an ass about it(don't worry, I know we all are at least a little ticked).
