Mimi... Mimi... Mimi... open your eyes... Mimi can you hear me," Mimi slowly opened her eyes when she heard Yoshi's voice.

She had no idea where she was for a moment then when the pain in her body begin to scream, Mimi remembered what happened.

"Oh my God what the hell happened to you? Did Hatori do this?" Yoshi asked in shock as his voice was trembling, when he saw Mimi open her eyes.

Mimi's first instinct was to blush when she remembered she was naked.

Yoshi noticed this and said "Don't worry I've covered you up. I called the ambulance as well. Please tell me what happened to you."

"Hatori didn't do this. He left me and has not been back since." Mimi said her voice was extremely dry, she had no idea how long she was unconscious for and asked. "What day is it?"

"It's Thursday five thirty."

"Good I've only been out a few hours, Hatori left Sunday said he found some one else.'' Mimi paused then said ''You have to promise me you won't tell anyone if I tell you who did this." Mimi knew that Yoshi was going to freak out but she also knew that there was more at stake than getting justice for what Jinpachi had done to her and she did not want anyone else to get hurt.

"How can you ask me that when you're laying in a pool of your blood with cuts all over you and your clothes have been ripped off." Yoshi said annoyed with Mimi for asking him to keep her attackers identity a secret.

"I know exactly what happened Yoshihiro. I'm telling you if you tell anyone who did this it will create major problems. So promise me please!" Mimi snapped at Yoshi, the pain was getting to her and her patience was wearing thin.

"Fine I promise." Very reluctantly Yoshi agreed he knew when Shigure found out it was going to be hard keeping it from him.

"It was Jinpachi." Mimi replied and tears started to pour from her eyes.

After they arrived at hospital and Mimi was stitched up and all sorts of tests were performed Mimi told Yoshi what happened. After hearing this Yoshi told Mimi he was going to pop out quickly and get her some new clothes. Instead Yoshi tracked down the doctor who treated Mimi and asked her the one question that was weighing heavily on his mind, "Was she raped?"

"There were no signs of tearing, or bruising; but Kanzaki-san said she was knocked unconscious. So the assailant may not have torn or bruised her if he took his time. There were no traces of seamen but he could have used a condom. I know this is not what you wanted to hear but honestly we just do not know I am sorry." The doctor said as gently as she could because she could see the distressed state Yoshi was in.

This made Yoshi feel sick and he needed to get some fresh air and decided to find a clothing store near the hospital. On his way to buy Mimi some clothes he called Shigure but someone else answered the phone. "Is Shigure Kanzaki there?" Yoshi asked.

In a very heavy accent someone said like they could barely speak Japanese, "No. No back two days." then hung up.

Yoshi thought "Okay, that was weird."

Yoshi bought some lose fitting clothes and a pair of shoes for Mimi. When he got back to the hospital the doctor was in the room talking to Mimi.

Mimi smiled at Yoshi as he walked in then said "Well it looks like I'm gona have to stay."

The doctor turned around and said" We are going to keep Kanzaki-san in for two days, she has lost a lot of blood and we just want to make sure she's okay before discharging her." Then the doctor left the room.

Yoshi sat next to Mimi. He thought she looked a little like Helena Bonham Carter's rendition of the bride of Frankenstein. Mimi's left side of her face had taken the most damage; there were stitches all over that half of her face where the broken pieces of mirror and glass had cut it. She had one long row of stitches along her jaw line where she was cut. She also had two black eyes but the left eye was swollen shut and the right side of her lip was cut and swollen. Mimi had huge white bandages on her left breast all the way to her armpit, and a bandage covered the stitches on her right arm and shoulder. Yoshi also knew Mimi had stitches on her stomach and inner right thigh.

Mimi knew Yoshi was taking everything in and said "I must look like a right mess, honestly I'm fine it looks worse than it is." Mimi tried to lighten the mood by saying "I've got two bald patches on the back of my head where they had to shave it." This had the opposite effect and Yoshi looked even sadder and Mimi quickly said, "Yoshi I can cover it with the rest of my hair. No one will know."

"I'm so sorry Mimi I should have come to check on you sooner." Yoshi said as he sat next to her on the bed and took her hand. He was guilt ridden.

"Stop it right now." Mimi said, "None of this is your fault and there was nothing you could have done to stop this. Jinpachi would have waited until you left and then done this any way. Really it was best you came when you did."

Mimi hated seeing her friend like this. She put her hand on Yoshi's and squeezed it. "So tell me about your new house? I still need to come and see it." Mimi said trying to change the subject.

Yoshi looked at Mimi determined not to let her change the subject "Mimi..." Yoshi hesitated asking.

''Just ask whatever it is you want to know.''

"How can you be so sure he didn't rape you? He knocked you out."

"I guess I can never really be sure, but I really don't think he did." Mimi answered calmly.

''You didn't answer my question Mimi. How can you be sure?" Yoshi asked again if he did not find out why Mimi was so sure it was going to drive him crazy.

Mimi took a deep breath "You're not going to like the answer. Are you sure you want to know?"

"Of course I am." Yoshi answered determined to know.

"Jinpachi is a sadist when it comes to me. You should have seen the pleasure he was getting when I was trying to fight him off." Mimi could tell this was upsetting Yoshi and paused until he calmed down. "When I realised this I stopped fighting and decided I was going to stay as still and lifeless as I could. When he realised I wasn't going to play along he got off of me then he knocked me out. I really don't think he did anything and I think if he had wanted to rape me he would have waited until I woke up and then tried to get me to struggle."
