        By the end of the week when Shigure and Ritsu arrived, Mimi was at rock bottom. She was no longer hiding the fact she wasn't eating and only came out of her room to wash herself.

It was mid-afternoon when Shigure let himself into the house. The house was full of boxes where nothing had been unpacked. Shigure walked straight into Mimi's office when he saw Yoshi and Ritsu sitting on the floor he asked "What's going on?"

Ritsu pointed at the lump underneath the blanket and replied "We are just trying to get Mimi to come out."

Shigure walked over to the sofa, pulled back the blanket then picked Mimi up and sat back down again. "What's with this silliness Mimi they are only trying to help." Shigure smiled at Mimi.

"'Please don't do that." Mimi said. She could not stand to have Shigure look at her because she felt hideous.

"Don't do what?" Shigure asked looking at her as if he did not see any of the cuts.

"Don't act like you don't see how ugly I've become." Mimi answered wanting to hide her face from him.

"You will always be beautiful to me." Shigure bent down and kissed her on the forehead, and then he looked at Ritsu and Yoshi and said "It's been a long trip for me and I'm starving. Why don't we order something to eat?"

When the food came Mimi said she wasn't hungry and that they should eat in the living room. While they ate Shigure, Ritsu and Yoshi discussed what they were going to ask Mimi. Yoshi warned them they needed to tread carefully because Mimi had been on a downward spiral and he did not know how much more she could take before she cracked.

When they went back into the office Shigure sat back down on the sofa with Mimi lying on his lap. Yoshi and Ritsu had brought chairs in to sit on.

When everyone was comfortable Shigure asked "Mimi I know it is hard but we really need to know everything that happened."

Mimi had been prepared for this and started to relive that day for them. She told them how Jinpachi had let himself in with Hatori's keys and how he told her everything, even the fact he and Kyoko planned the affair. Then she moved onto the attack and everything he did to her and finally how he was going to rape her. After she had finished everyone was silent even Yoshi was shocked because Mimi had not gone into that much detail the first time she told him.

Then Mimi asked "Do you want to see the cuts? I have to change the bandages so if you want to see them, I will show them to you."

Both Shigure and Ritsu agreed that they wanted to see. Mimi stood up took her top and jogging bottoms off so that she was only wearing her bra and panties. Then she got Yoshi to help her take off all of the bandages. Neither Shigure nor Ritsu could hide the horror they felt when looking at Mimi's cuts. Ritsu put her hands to her mouth and started to tear up. Shigure took in each cut; he started with the ones on Mimi's face then moved down to her breast and her arm then back over to her shoulder. Then he moved down to her stomach. This one was long and jagged where the others had been straight. Mimi stood with her legs apart and lifted her left leg up so that they could see the cut on her thigh and this cut was also jagged like the one on her stomach.

Mimi could tell what Shigure was wondering and answered him "The reason why the cuts are different is because, when I stopped trying to fight him off and just laid there as still as I could, He got pissed off that I wasn't fighting back so he cut me here first" Mimi pointed to her thigh, "then here" Mimi pointed to her stomach "He was more viscous when he did these as he was trying to get me to fight back. It took everything I had not to scream or fight back and if he had cut me one more time he would have got me to fight back again." Mimi stopped, then asked Yoshi to help her change her bandages.
