Chapter 10 - Let's Stick With Cute

"Melissa, don't make me repeat myself again." Ray continued to bug me. "Who was at the door?"

"Nobody you need to worry about. And you don't have to worry about me saying I was kidnapped. Last time I told someone, he thought I was lying." I shrugged, furrowing my eyebrows as I thought of a certain someone name Mason. That boy confuses me with his mixed emotions.

Ray growled at my response. "That's not a good answer."

Cue the silence.

I coughed uncomfortably and changed the subject so he would forget about it. "Well, I just got my uniform, so I guess I'll go and change, Master." I winked.

Cue more silence.

Ray's eyes twinkled with intrigue and a tiny hint of lust as if we were never talking about the subject before a couple seconds ago.

Oh no. I'm in trouble. Winking was not a good idea! I thought it would add the slightest effect, but it added so much of a turn on, that he had lust in his eyes. WHY DID I THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA???

I coughed awkwardly again and immediately ran to my room, slamming the door behind me and locking it. I made a really big mistake. The winking was too much!

As these thoughts ran through my head, I realized that I was having a panic attack. I breathed slowly to calm myself down and soon enough I was breathing normally.

I hate it when I get panic attacks. It feels like a complete stranger chained a heavy ball to your ankle, and then pushed you off to a cliff, into the water. You can't breathe and all you can do is think of how wrong your life is.

I quickly got into my uniform and it was actually extremely comfortable. Not enough to walk through a desert in, but enough to wear the whole day and not complain.

It fit perfectly around the right curves to make me look... sexy?

No that's not the right word.

Cute maybe?

Let's stick with cute.

I sighed as I put on the shoes, making my outfit finally complete.

I smiled, satisfied with the uniform, and grabbed the doorknob, followed by opening the door faster than I should have.

Instead of seeing an empty hallway in front of me, I was face to face with three 20-year-old men, staring at me intensely. I took a step back in surprise and let out a small squeak from fear. They all had different expressions:

Marcus was nodding in approval, satisfied with the outfit's fitting.

Jordan was grinning like a maniac and I swear I heard him squeal in excitement.

Ray's jaw was dropped and he was staring at me like I was some kind of greek goddess.

We stared at each other in an awkward silence before I slowly closed my bedroom door, and locked it again.

That was weird.

I cleared my mind and decided to clean my room while I was trapped in it.

~Time Skip~

It's been about an hour since I locked myself in my room and I surprisingly haven't been bothered by any of them ever since. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't scared to open the door though. I was fucking terrified.

I managed to clean the entire room and I was pretty satisfied with how it turned out. Because of my fear of being stared down with every step I took outside of my room, I decided to lay on my, now brand new looking, bed.
