Chapter 19 - Stupid 5'2 Height

After that, everything was pretty normal as we continued through the mall.

I mean, it was normal for me, considering I'm being held captive by three attractive men and I am in some kind of reverse-harem that consists of five boys.

For me, normal time at the mall meant Ray cursing at some of the customers, me stopping him from shooting someone, being hugged by Jordan too many times, Marcus staying quiet and shooting me glances pretty often, and whispers with no end. Not to mention I had to avoid Justin and Jessica because he's thirsty and she's a hoe.

And I'm not referring to the garden tool.

Atleast Jordan knows part of how it feels to be constantly harassed. Except I've been kissed. Many times.

We got my clothes and headed back to the van, which caused a crazy amount of stares from The Populars who needed all of the gossip they could get to help them survive through the week. They seriously need to back off.

Marcus ruffled my hair on the way to the van and I glared at him. "What was that for?"

"Thanks for not screaming 'kidnapper' and running around the mall like a crazy person." He grinned.

I frowned and looked at the ground. "I was too busy trying not to get a panic attack and pass out. The stares kept me in check."

"Yeah, but what if nobody was staring? Would you still call for help?"

"What's the use? You put my family on the line, and I'd like to still see them. Or... Ruby, atleast."

Marcus put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me close to him. He doesn't usually do this... It's usually Jordan and barely Ray, but never Marcus.

It was even more intimidating since Marcus is the tallest out of all of them. I wasn't even up to his shoulder, thanks to my stupid 5'2 height.

"I'm sorry for threatening. Forgive me?"

"I'll forgive all of you when you let me live my actual life. I want to see my sister everyday like I used to."

Marcus sighed again. "How about this? We'll let you visit your family... 7 times a month. That way, you can stay with her an entire week if you wanted."

Ray and Jordan heard our conversation and turned to us once we got to the van.

I leaned against the van and The Boys surrounded me. "Are you guys fine with that?" I smiled at the offer.

"Yes," Ray paused when I cheered. "BUT, we need to lay down some ground rules." My smile died down.

"One, no calling the police. If you do, we will grab you and move to a whole other state. Two, we will visit every so often to make sure that you're not trying to run away."

"How will you find me?" I interrupted.

"I was just about to get to that." He said, slightly irritated. "Three, will give you a tracker. That way, we can know where you are."

"Why are they tracking her?" One voice said on the other side of the car behind us.

"Shhh!" Said another voice. They both sounded female.

Everyone stiffened at the voices and everything went silent.

Ray sighed. "God damnit. I guess we're going back to our old jobs now. These Populars are getting on my nerves."
