Chapter 5 - For The Sake Of My Safty

I woke up on my bed in a very... intimate position with Ray. He was on all fours with an arm and leg on both sides of me, trapping me under the bed covers.

"You look beautiful while you sleep." He stated seductively, his face inches from mine.

I stared at him in shock. "Seriously, Ray? Did you kidnap me again just so you could get in my pants? How many times do I have to knee you in the crotch?"

Before he could ask what I meant, I lifted my knee in a sudden movement, making contact with his area through the blanket.

He quickly rolled off the bed in pain as he groaned.

I got out of the covers and walked out, leaving the hurt Ray on the floor. "I'm not getting an ice pack this time."

I walked down to the living room, uninterested with anything and everything. I sighed in defeat as I laid on the couch and played with my thumbs, still in my pajamas, and quite comfortable.

Considering I was kidnapped again, I sure was bored out of my mind.

"Go get dressed," Marcus ordered, walking into the living room.

"Can't," I stated back, not looking in his direction.

"Why?"

"Ray's in there."

"Why?"

"I kneed him in the nuts again."

"Why?"

"He was on top of me when I woke up." I looked up at him.

"That happened with Jordan too." He said, looking quite amused.

"Yes, but Jordan was innocent and had a good reason."

"How did you know Ray wasn't innocent?"

"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure saying 'You look beautiful while you sleep' is not innocent."

"Okay um... I'll go get him an ice pack and talk." Marcus said with a concerned tone.

I nodded in approval and Marcus quickly grabbed an ice pack from the kitchen and went up to my room and closed the door behind him.

Jordan came into the living room with two plates of food. "Dear, you haven't eaten an actual meal ever since we first kidnapped you. Sure, I've been giving you crackers, but you'll soon starve if that's all you eat."

"Maybe I want to starve myself," I mumbled.

He was about to respond, but Marcus beat him to it. "Melissa! Get up here!" He shouted from across the house.

I sighed and walked to the stairs to my room. I'm in a really bad mood today since I left my hoodie at Ruby's place. I have nothing to comfort me, hide in, or feel safe in. That jacket was a part of me, and it's gone.

I opened the door carefully to see Marcus and Ray standing there patiently. "For the sake of my safety, may I please leave the door open?" I pleaded.

Ray nodded his head in approval.

I walked in nervously, still very concerned about the situation at hand.

The door slammed closed behind me and I whipped my head back to see what happened.

Jordan happened.

He was standing in front of the door with his arms crossed. He had a hint of a scowl in his expression, probably still salty about me not eating his food.
