Chapter 27 - Yeah, Why Is That?

"Fucking assholes. Can't clean their own damn house." I grumbled under my breath as I aggressively stuffed empty bags of Takis into a garbage bag.

Remember when I said that today was going to be a long day? Yeah, it was a long day. A long day of cleaning.

The Boys went out to get supplies, including the ones I wrote on the fridge. Meanwhile, I was stuck tackling this smelly beast of a room: The Mancave.

I already got half of it done before, but the boys crashed it again without a care in the world.

There were sweaty shirts, pants, and even some boxers laying around. I didn't want to have to carry those around, so I just threw them into one of the corners of the room that I cleaned before.

Now all that's left is to throw more trash away, organize and dust off counters, clean the couch, sweep then vacuum, fluff pillows, and then appreciate my hard work before it's destroyed again.

Why did I accept this offer?

I heard a whistle behind me while I was picking up trash and stood up straight as fast as I could.

I turned around and saw all of The Boys behind me, standing in the doorway of the room.

"Aw, I was enjoying the view." Ray smirked. Jordan stomped on Ray's foot and Marcus just rolled his eyes.

Ray breathed out as if it was going help ease the pain. "Damn, Jordan. Calm your emotions."

"I could say the same to you." Jordan smirked, gesturing to the bulge in Ray's pants.

I tried to hold in my laugh by covering my mouth, but I still couldn't help but let out a giggle.

Even Marcus was trying to hold in his smile.

Ray cleared his throat and spoke. "Okay, okay, jokes on me. Anyways listen, I got the supplies you wrote down on the fridge. Where do want me to put them?"

"Oh. Can you give them to Stacy?" I asked.

"Who?" Ray tilted his head like a confused puppy.

A really attractive, horny, confused puppy.

"The girl in the cell, idiot. Why don't you learn their names? It's easier to communicate that way."

"I don't need to know their names. They'd be gone in a few days."

"Then why'd you want my name so badly? You held me at gun-point when I refused." I pointed out. They all went silent. "And you tried selling me too. Why ask for my name if I was going to be gone in a few days?"

Marcus and Jordan looked at Ray with a "Yeah, why is that?" face while Ray stayed silent.

"I'll go deliver these to Stacy." Ray stated, walking back up the stairs and out of the room to avoid my question.

I huffed and continued cleaning while Marcus and Jordan still stood there awkwardly. Then Ray came back down and they all just watched me.

I stood up straight again and looked at them. "Unless your going help me clean this dump, stop staring and leave me at peace."

"Ew, cleaning. No thank you." Jordan muttered and all three of them walked back up the stairs.

I huffed again and continued stuffing trash into the garbage bag.

And then I tensed when I felt a presence next to me. I stood up for the third time and noticed the very close proximity between me and Marcus.

I couldn't step back, because I was bound to trip on the dump behind me, so I stood my ground and looked up at him.
