"What do you mean you can't go?" You say into your phone.

"Sorry y/n/n, but my mom said I have to stay home and do homework all day since I'm slacking."  Your best friend says on the other line.

"But y/bsf/n! We've been planning on seeing this movie since forever! And I don't wanna go alone, I'll look like a loser!"

He/she just laughs and apologizes, then hangs up.

You mentally sigh. You really wanted to go see the new movie "Everything Everything" that had just come out.

"Mom!" You yell.

You walk out of your bedroom and walk down the stairs towards your moms office.

"Hey mom?" You ask.

"Yes love?" She asks, typing away on her laptop.

"You wanna go see a movie with me?"

She sighs, "Honey. I'd love to. But you know how busy I am with this novel."

"Yeah yeah, I know."

You walk out of her office and just decide to go alone.

You look at times and see that the earliest one is in 30 minutes, at 4:15 p.m.

You tell your mom you're leaving and hop on your long board, then skate to the movie theater, which was only like 10 minutes away.

Once arriving, you go in and buy your ticket, lucky for you you got one of the last ones.  You understood why it was almost sold out, since it had come out that day.

You take your ticket and go to the concession counter, where you buy your favorite movie treats.

When you're done getting your snacks you go into theater room 8, which was the room "Everything Everything" would be playing.

You scan the room and finally find a open seat. It was near the back and it kinda isolated itself from everyone who was already there.

You checked the time, 4:07 p.m.

You sighed happily and played games on your phone until the movie begun.

"Excuse me?" A male voice asks.

You look up and meet eyes with a beautiful brunette boy who also had a gorgeous smile.

You blush realizing you were staring for awhile and clear your throat.

"Yes?" You croak.

The beautiful boy chuckles at your nervousness.

"Um, I was wondering if I could sit next to you? The room is almost full and I'd rather not sit by a huge crowd of crying girls throughout this movie. I mean, if you're not waiting for someone or anything."

You smile, "No I'm not, of course you can sit by me."

He sighs happily and sits next to you.

"I'm Jonah, by the way." He says and holds his hand out for you to shake.

"Y/n." You reply, taking his hand. "So Jonah, what're you doing here all by yourself?"

He laughs, which causes your stomach to erupt into a million butterflies. "Well, this isn't necessarily your average action movie. None of my friends wanted to come."

It was then your turn to laugh and you say, "I'm not usually for romance movies myself, but this movie actually looked very good."

"Right?" Jonah smiles, taking some of his popcorn.

The movie started about 30 seconds later and you both sat happily and watched it together, chatting and making jokes occasionally.

When the movie was over, you and Jonah were both in tears, a mix of crying and a mix of laughter from both the movie and each other.

Jonah escorted you out of the theater and outside into the chilly weather.

"I had a great time hanging out with you y/n. Maybe I could get your number?"

You examine his face and realize he looks a lot older than you.

"Depends, how old are you, exactly?"

"Almost 19. You?"

You laugh, "I'm only 15."

"So, we can't hang out again?" He asks.

"Hey, I never said that. You just have to promise to keep it a secret."

You hand him your phone and he hands you his, and you put your numbers into each others phones.

Once you swap phones back, he winks and says, "Nobody gotta know."
