Izuku grabbed my hand then dragged me out of the store just like that.

I couldn't help but notice how gentle he's holding onto me despite punching the shit out of that creep in the coffee shop.

"Holy shit." I tugged on his hand when I got a good look of all the scars and bruises that decorated it. "What the hell happened to you?!"

He looked down on his hand then back up at me, bashfully scratching his cheek with a finger. "I was a little reckless when I was a first year. If you want I can tell you all about it, but maybe not today."

I nodded in understanding.

We stopped at a fountain attraction and he sat me down on the edge.

"You're not from this part of town so I'm guessing Kacchan's here with you- that idiot should've known better than to leave you alone." He raised my hand to see the bruise that bastard imprinted on my skin. "Damn, if I had known I would've gotten to you faster."

"Its doesn't hurt that much, and how did you know where I was anyway?"

"Kirishima texted me you were missing and when I saw you walking up to the coffee shop, I had second thoughts because I remember you were upset with me. I figured I was the last person you wanted to see but I couldn't stand how that bastard was harassing you. I know you had things under control but I just-"

"Hey, its fine. Don't sweat it."

"S-Sorry, am I mumbling a lot?"

"Honestly, I think its cute." I smiled at him. "Thanks for saving me back there Izuku."

The green haired sophomore suddenly turned red and averted his gaze. "Y-You're welcome."

I handed him a cup of coffee as he sat down beside me. "So are you here with anyone or are you just by yourself?"

"Actually, I was with Uraraka but she said she had to go see someone."

"Oh were you on a date?"

"I-I wouldn't consider it a d-date, she just asked me if I can take her here so she can meet up with her friend." He was blushing so madly I couldn't help but giggle.

By the looks of it, I can tell he really likes this Uraraka girl. She must be pretty nice considering Izuku's getting all flustered just by talking about her.

"By the way, I forgot to ask but where's Kacchan?"

"I don't know but we agreed to meet up here after buying everything for his parents' anniversary."

"Well that's unusual."

"What do you mean 'unusual'?"

"Well, Kacchan's not the type to have people around him most of the time." He took a sip from his cup before continuing. "He must really like you if he's letting you tag along to these things."

Katsuki.. likes me? Okay, no, stop it Ayaka. You literally saw him kissing a girl in front of the whole school a few days ago- what the heck is wrong with you?

I gulped down my coffee too fast I ended up burning my tongue like an idiot. "Ouch! Ouch!"

"A-Are you okay?"

"Deku?"

I looked over Izuku's shoulder and saw Katsuki with a rosy-cheeked brunette.

It felt like my heart sank to my feet the instant I recognized her.

I couldn't even look Katsuki in the eye when Izuku got up to greet the two.

Geez, now I feel so stupid for even thinking about it.
