Shiloh –

I was excited to spend time with Ori's friends. It is a new experience for me and I just could not help the feeling of happiness that overcame me. Brian is insane and I can see what a very good friend Ori had in him.  He was very lucky to have him in his life.  As Ori healed and his friends integrated themselves back into his everyday life, this time I was included in all their visits whether brief or long. I got to know these men very well and liked all of them.  Each one has a distinct and unique personality that seems to complement his very well.

I know that Ori is determined to do things so differently than he did as his past self and I commend him for it as he is afraid to make a mistake that will lead to our renewed split. I did explain to him that it will never come to pass. That I may have walked away from him for a month but in the end I knew deep in my heart that I was coming back home to him.

I cannot be without him in my life in some capacity and that somehow we would have worked things out. Our lives have been intertwined for near all of it and to imagine living my life without him was just unthinkable.  It is unfortunate that things went in a much more deadlier direction but I feel that we came out stronger because of it. I am so anxious to begin our new lives together.

We arrive at Fairy Spirits, a very popular local watering hole for any type of orientation. Brian told me that in this place, all of them felt at ease with the atmosphere surrounding them and were able to enjoy themselves every time they visited this place. It looks like a very old fashioned bed and breakfast but it is a pub.  I already love it!

It is pretty packed but the guys reserved a table for all of us and since there is a lot of money that will be floating around just in our group alone and the fact that Ori is supposed to know the owner personally, we were given special treatment.  I am curious to know the owner as he is also considered one of "The Boys" and to have such an establishment means he must be a sound business man as well as creative one.

This place is huge and just as we walk in the front door and spy our group of misfits in the back area where the seating is, a very beautiful man/woman, not quite sure which, shows up right in front of us and just hugs my man to near death. "Orion, oh my word. Where the hell have you been hiding?"

My man is completely speechless and taken aback so I reach my hand out and say, "Evening. My name is Shiloh, Ori's husband." This ethereal nymph squeals excitedly catching me off guard as he says, "I am so excited to finally meet you. Orion's descriptions of you have done you no justice at all. You are simply stunning."

Now I am just out right blushing and it is embarrassing as hell.  As curiosity supersedes any embarrassment I may have had, I ask,  "And you are?" As he shakes my hand he says, "I am so sorry. My name is Fay and this establishment is mine and my husbands and once he gets here, you will meet my better half later on. Come let us get you to your party gentlemen."

He then hooked each of his arms in mine and Ori's and escorted us to where the guys were sitting. This guy is hysterical and so way over the top but not in an annoying way. I love him already and can see why he was a part of Ori's small circle of trusted friends.  He probably brought pure laughter and joy to his life when he needed it most. He is also so tiny at what I am assuming is five feet seven inches but his personality is larger than life.

"Here we go gentlemen. I have asked my best server, Derek to take care of your crew this evening so make sure and tip him well or else!"  He says in what I can only assume is an attempt at a menacing look.  "Orion, I have heard from Brian all that has transpired but you are still my friend and I hope that as we get to know each other again, our friendship will continue maybe even better than ever."

Then he looks towards me and says, "You and I, on the other hand, have much to catch up on and I have a feeling we are going to be besties for life!" Now all of the guys are laughing at his behavior.

Ori's smile was so wide and big that he bent down to give this fairy imp a big hug lifting him off the floor a bit to his glee based on the sound that came from Fay. He says, "I look forward to this evening and will join you in a little while as I need to make my rounds." He then proceeds to lay a kiss on each of my cheeks and flutters away like something out of a fairy tale.  I even expected wings to pop out of his back.

Ori is laughing so I turn to him and say jokingly, "What? Not jealous of him, huh?" "Are you kidding me? He is awesome and Orion approved so you can have your new little friend." By now my not so subtle husband and his band of misfits are trying to cover up their obvious amusement to no avail.

I look over at him and all his friends and give them all the stink eye and say, "You know I can kick all of your asses' right!" They all take a very good look at me before Brian says, "Of course we do now stop pouting and sit down and join us."

I was not pouting. I am an adult but when I look over at my man, he has this serene look on his face and as he catches me staring at him, he leans over towards me and plants a good peck right on my lips. Okay, no more pouting!
